Grand! I already take Eita seriously, so I'm totally looking forward to this if he's in it. I have the movie, too.
I think at that point the only thing I had seen him in was Orange Days so I really hadn't formed much of an opinion. But after watching him in Unfair I said to myself, "This guy is good!"

Ep 4 of Engine. I started it a couple days ago. It's pretty good, nothing remarkable. I like the orphanage scenes better than the racing scenes. That's one thing I really don't like about this show- the racing parts seem so out of place. They might as well have made that into a whole separate drama. _________________

im watching gokusen and thinking about dropping it, the acting is good overall but something about the main character and the story doesnt fit well for me. Well anyways its amusing to watch. Wondering if the story is going to pick up, each episode seems the same too.
Then you are in for a grand treat when you see him in Atsu Hime where he has a major supporting role.
Grand!
On Topic: On epi 2 of Unfair. I forgot to review for Ai no Uta:
Review: 7/10
The first episode was grand. The cinematography was unique, the narration was gripping, and storyline was interesting. I became excited for this drama but was somewhat disappointed by the end of the third episode.
The show isnft bad. In fact, I found it sweet, endearing, and altogether enjoyable. It was just corny. Considerably so. This is one of those dramas to watch when youfre feeling like everything should go right and youfre not in the mood for conflict. This drama has no conflict.
Kanno Miho was so much fun to watch. This was my first experience with Tamaki Koji, and although his smile sometimes got on my nerves, I really liked him in this role. The children were adorable and the side cast (small) were grand. The big surprise for me was Wakui Emi! I wasnft extremely impressed with her in the one drama Ifve seen her in (Naguru Onna), but she completely captivated me here.
I would recommend this drama to anyone needing something easy to swallow while retaining a good storyline and solid talent. _________________

Yeah, it is redundant... If you think that's bad, wait 'til you get to Gokusen 2 and Gokusen 3... If you dare.

The racing is more of a side-story/reason for KimuTaku to be there
Hit the nail right on the head...
Anyway, watching Uta no Onii-san ep 2. Stupid but totally cracks me up. I think it would actually be fun to work on a show like that. _________________

I'm surprised she didn't finish the entire series...
That was the plan, but I'd forgotten to pull the second disc out, and it was too dark, and too late, to scramble around trying to find it. _________________
It was good. Well... it was okay. Well... it just... missed something along the way.
I have no complaints. The cast was really terrific. The idea for the story was solid as a rock. A mystery, a bit of comedy, a story that was really kind of sad at its core. And a touch of revenge.
But somehow, for me, it didn't quite hit the spot.
The two characters I enjoyed the most were probably Morishita Aiko & Nakashima Mika
Neither had big parts. Neither were really integral to the plot. They were just peripheral characters. But they seemed the most lively to me.
I'm a huge Morishita Aiko fan. If there's space for a ditsy mom in a series, and you can't get Fubuki Jun... then you have to go with Morishita Aiko. (Loved her in Ikebukuro West Gate Park)
As for Nakashima Mika ("Nana") I doubt she even had a part in the series when the first script was written. She was there to sing the series signature ballad. But the director or the writer really wanted to sneak her into the show. So she started showing up in the later episodes as a minor, if somewhat bizarre, side character. And she ended up being one of the more memorable characters in the show.
It's probably not a good thing that these two, small, side characters are the ones that made the biggest impression on me. _________________
