If I recall correctly from earlier comments in this thread, the problem was that she insisted people call her Erika-sama, or something like that.

That's crazy! I'll definitely have what she's having.. Unforts LMF-sama doesn't have the same ring to it...

A legion of boy friends, a (un)healthy dose of booze, and a container-ful of hot air. If you can manage that you deserve to be called LMF-sama.

Pretty much since her "betsune" bitch attitude during the Closed Note interview is when everything went south. She was very popular after Ichi Ritoru and I would always see Sawajiri CMs on heavy rotation on the TV. Now you only see her in the news or in tabloid magazines (Friday). The last CM I recall her in was Kanebo COFFRET D'OR which was a year ago. That interview really hurt her marketability. A celebrity can get away with being a bitch during an interview in America but that is totally unacceptable here in Japan.
