Saw up to episode 4 of Hitotsu Yane no Shita 1. It's not hard to see why this is a classic. I find it much better than the flashy dramas of the 2000's.

Bloody Monday episode 8.

Next I think it'll be Mop Girl, which I am downloading. It has hardsubs.
I was doing Jikou Keisatsu (with softsubs), but made a hash of it, and so deleted the chunk I had got. Sweat

You can thank beem and Geezer for subs for the second half of this. If it wasn't for them, it may never have got finished.

Oh sorry, I think you misunderstood - I am actually downloading Mop Girl. I got it off the TimelesSub site.
I just meant I would like to know more of the story behind the subtitling difficulties. Big Grin

Re: medical jdorama series--all of the ones I've seen pale in comparison to Shiroi Kyoto. Huge gap.

The Korean Version of HYD. It's strange how the Domyouji character resembles the original Taiwanese Domyouji.. Head Scratch

Watching and translating Honjitsu mo Hare ep 3. I actually think it's pretty funny. I love the Mitsuo character. What an idiot.

Going to watch Kiina ep 2 after I take a bath. Or maybe wait until tomorrow. I also saw the first episode of Rescue and it wasn't so bad. I don't know why it needed to be so long though. I feel they could have put all the information in a regular length episode.

Finished watch some dorama this week.

Engine,
I have it for almost a year, never have any mood to watch it, coz I thought it's all about driving. But once I watched it, it's completely different from what I thought first. It's touching en I like it a lot, cry sometime while watched it Shameful Cry .

Hataraki man,
shigoto shigoto

Oh my Girl,
The little girl is really cute, en she done her acting with well I think, it touch me en I cried too, I don't know why I get so emotional lately.
Like the story

Bloody Monday,
It's interesting en miura haruma, isn't he just cute or what? But I really don't understand hacking anyway, so,

Ryuseei no kizuna.
What a shockin' ending.

Minna Mukashi wa Kodomo Datta 11 - finished!

This is not your action-packed drama. It's more of a slow-paced series, reflecting the pace of life in the rural village it's set in. The school in this village is in danger of closing, as it has one principal, one head teacher, one homeroom teacher - and one student only. This changes when a handful of students from Tokyo arrive for the "Rural Study Program".

I really liked this series. Anyone who loved Kuninaka Ryoko in Churasan will love her in this. There's also some good younger actors (Eita, great as always, and Shiraishi Miho, who is impressive), some old pros (Fubuki Jun, and Jinnai Takanori, who to me will always be The Man Who Slapped Yonekura Ryoko in Koshonin), and a bunch of cute kids, who are the real stars. Jinnai Takanori really hams it up here, but he's always entertaining. The story charts the changes that happen when the kids arrive - changes to the kids, the teachers, the locals and the town.

It might not be for everyone, but some, like me, will love it.

9/10
