Thanks for the offer. However, I can't use torrents with my kind of Internet access -that's what makes finding this series so difficult. I was looking for ddls or irc-bots but so far I got nothing :/ (Well, one ddl that gives me ~20kb/s ...for 600-800mb files that's almost the same as nothing Sad )

Oh, well... guess it'll take me quite some time.

If I had better upload speed and a good file host (MegaUpload bites), I'd upload the files... Sweat

Where are you located? Maybe you could trade with one of our reliable traders like Wynter, sadacori, Eve, or marspeach (sorry if I forgot someone)... Smile

hi, i'm pretty new to this board and would like to ask for recommendations of some good romance comedy dramas... i just finished watching kekkon dekinai otoko and last christmas and i loved them both, i'm hoping to watch similar dramas. I prefer watching shows with good ending and a beautiful main actress since i easily get discouraged watching shows with "not so good looking" protagonists hehe Also, i prefer watching a more mature setting and not school dramas. Oh and i'm also not a fan of kimura takuya though i know a lot of people are XD. Well these are just my preferences so it would be great if anyone of you could recommend something close with my description.

I started watching Nemureru Mori/ A sleeping forest around the time I was watching Innocent Love & read that they're similar. Although I'm sure A sleeping forest is better, I just thought I wouldn't like watching two dramas with the same storyline. So are they? Thanks.

^definitely NOT the same
Sleeping Forest is way better and not written by that overrated screenwriter. I don't get how anyone could compare both story and found them similar Crazy

Muri na Renai... Natsukawa Yui fits your beautiful actress criteria. Victory! Peace!

And though it's a school drama (to a degree), I've gotta recommend Nodame Cantabile... It's simply outstanding. Applaud

I've watched Nodame already before and I liked it as well.

I'll try watching Muri na Renai. Thanks Applaud

heyyy
I am currently watching rookies ep 5...
nice story so far... I really like the manga... and I think Sato Ryuta and Ichihara Hayato's acting are not dissapointing...
the plots really really better than gokusens (I like gokusens because of the casts rather than the story...so it's kinda hard to accept it,,,but it's true T T),,,
it's more realistic,,,,the fights, the make-up and the outfit too,,,(I'm sorry miura-kun, ishiguro-kun, mokomichi-san, koike-san, oguri-san, matsumoto-san)

anywayy,,,,
I'm becoming addicted to these kinda story...
so anyone can you reccomend me these kinda drama????
I heard yankee bokou ni kaeru is good to watch..is it true...??
(I also found out that hayami mokomichi, koike teppei, etc are in this drama,,,so I really looking forward to see this... Fingers crossed )
if u know the links to see yankee bokou ni kaeru online,,,that would be nice too....
thx b4...

I only recently got into jdramas and was wondering if you guys could help me with some recommendations? I'd like something similar to Nobuta wo Produce, with the strong focus on friendship. It doesn't have to the be the ugly duckling kind of stories, or about bullying etc. Thanks in advance!

Good friendship dramas are hard to find. I really like Nobuta wo Produce too.

Beachboys... is the only one I can think of at the moment.
And Ganbatte Ikimasshoi...

Maybe have a look at Churasan and Medaka...
Main focus is probably not friendship, but there are some nice moments...

Perhaps Ikebukuro West Gate Park and Kisarazu's Cats Eyes - both are in a way about friendship.

well, as far as I know,, school Jdrama mainly focused about friendship,,,
u can try watching rookies(Highly Recommend), gokusen, hana kimi (HR), dragon sakura, shibatora, yankee bokou ni kaeru (the one that I try to find too...), my boss my hero, gto, honey and clover (highly reccomend the movie than the series...), akihabara@deep (also prefer the movie,,,haven't seen the series), tokyo friends (haven't seen the series also but watched the sp), waterboys (HR), swing girls (it's a Jmovie,,,HR)
well that's all that I can think of now...hope it helps... Victory! Peace!

I'd recommend LIFE, one of the best school-themed friendship story in recent years.

Hi!! ILm new here and started watching J-Dorama 6 months ago(iLm 22). i watched 23 doramas so far, and for some od reason i realized that i enjoy a lot the forbiden love kind of plot, i think that kind of storyline got me hooked up on J-Dorama.

Can you please recomend me some good Dorama about forbiden love, my favorite ones(just about forbiden love) are: Majo no Joken, Densha Otoko, Sapuri, Boku dake no Madonna, Anego, Tatta Hitotsu no Koi and Taiyou no Uta.

I watched Hana Kimi, Hana Yori Dango and Zettai kareshi, but didnLt find them as good as the ones i listed above.

well it's a bit different than your previous ones,,, but I think u shoul try to watch them out:
u must see 1 million stars falling from the sky...a Takuya Kimura's drama... it's the coolest forbidden love type of drama...
there's another KimuTaku's drama called Karei Naru Ichizoku,,,
not mainly a forbidden love kinda story (family complex kind of drama),,, it's a cool drama too, but it's too dark for me,,, but maybe you'll like it...
tokyo wankei is also about a forbidden love story (one's a japanese and another's a korean)...also nice...(more to romance)
Rondo/rinbukyoku is good also,,,similiar with tokyo wankei but more complex...more action scenes...
you can also try to watch honey and clover; and orange days... (for honey and clover, I prefer the film rather than the dorama)... it's about friendship and romance in the university life...
I hope it helps... Victory! Peace!

Anyway thanks a lot Smile
