I got up to episode 4 of Imouto Yo, but found it pretty disappointing, and then watched Churasan 2, which was great fun. Some of the last two episodes were really funny and it felt very much like the first one too. ^^

I watched the first two eps of Churasan 2, but it was right after finishing the marathon Churasan. It seemed to have a slightly different feel, which put me off a little. I will finish it later, along with the other 2 Smile

Watched epi3 tonight...

The camera is truly in love with Yui in this drama...I could've flooded her thread with a hundred screencaps...She is just radiant here...

Storywise, it's just so strong...loaded with comedic moments, but still guided by the serious business at hand...

As an unusual turn of events, I just finished the first episode of Daisuki after a several month hiatus. While touching for all the usual reasons, it was pretty cheesy. I'll probably give it a few more shots.

Oh.. and Hi everyone Smile

Again? THats remarkable. Wink

Ep 7 of Otoko No Kosodate.
Im flying through it.
Not much substance, just some fluffy, irreverent fare.

Nice to see not everyone "trying their best" at every moment.

I watched the Unfair SP last night, it took me like two years to watch but it was good - for a special at least.

I also started two new series
Iguana no musume - about a girl who thinks she's a iguana, a tad weird and I dislike Konno Miho but it has potential.

Style - about personal shoppers in a depaato - it's fluff but Takeuchi Yuko is in it Victory! Peace! and she is lovely as usual.

Stick with it. Yeah, it does have its cheesy parts and at first Yuzu being so loud sometimes kind of irritated me, but it grows on you. Karina is so good in this! Applaud

I saw about 3 or 4 eps of that one. I liked it but not enough to see the entire series. I liked the main actor so much in White Love Story that I tried it.

I like this one, the ending was quite good. Motoki Masahiro put in a great performance but the support cast didn't get much material to work with.

Hehe.. hopefully that won't be necessary. Damn dramas always make me stay up later than I should! 10:30 has become a late night for this early riser.

One problem/opportunity with dramas is that I always want the new one to be as good as the last one or favorite one.. and they never are. But, sometimes a new one can provide something new and exciting to experience. I want my favorite actor/actress to be part of it.. but am usually delighted (or at least relatively satisfied) with the new talent in the new drama.

Not really a commentary on Daisuki yet as I don't think I'm qualified to decide either yet... but I can hope, right?

gaijinmark: If you're into guitars, you may check out Mukodono. Nagase Tomoya is exhibiting another one from his vintage Gibson collection.

Maybe I should finish Utahime up. I stopped after a couple of episodes for some reason. Sweat

On topic: Watched the first episode of Osama no Restaurant. Seems like a promising drama and it's about time I started watching it, huh, shin2! Beaten

Sadacori: Ohsama no restauran reminded me a bit of the film My Dinner With Andre, in the sense that the whole thing happens within the walls of a restaurant with a lot of dialogue and little action. Yamaguchi Tomoko plays pretty much the same character she played in Long Vacation, and of course you've got sad-faced Kajihara Zen who seems to be haunt every kitchen like an indispensable piece of furniture. I simmered the show down to a very enjoyable two hour version.

Shin sent me this drama as well and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Most of the stuff he sends is pure gold. He's made me a solid fan of Yamaguchi.

On Topic: Atsu-hime epi 17 I believe.
