Finished first two episodes of Asunaro Hakusho http://www.jdorama.com/drama.33.htm From the pen of Eriko Kitagawa and it shows. Pretty good so far. Just a few things:
It cracks me up how dramas from the 90s are almost totally devoid of cell phones. Nowadays, you're lucky to get thru one scene without somebody picking up their cell.
Kimura looks like a total dork in those glasses.
And even though she's been relegated to mostly grandmother roles now, back in the day, Mariko Kaga was pretty hot.

Just watched

1st episode of Love Game (which was pretty good, it does kinda have cheesy parts that Fingers crossed is going to be removed from future episodes)

2nd episode of Shiroi Haru (Human drama which means it probably wont be depending as much on the plot as it will on the acting)

1st episode of Hyoryu Net Cafe (I'm neither impressed nor disappointed by it, just intrigued, really intrigued)

and 40% of the 1st episode of the Quiz Show 2 (I couldn't stand the acting of the 2 main characters and I just skipped most of the episode. It's mostly because a voice in my head ask me when I'm watching it why I'm not watching the original.)

No kidding!

Watched the first two eps of Home Drama. Ive been putting it off because of the small subs.

The story is deeply engrossing and well acted. I have a feeling I'll be finishing this one. Smile

Watching Shiroi Haru ep 4. The show isn't perfect- not crazy about the directing and the frequent reuse of the same flashbacks over and over, but it's still good and has made me cry several times. But of course, I cry very easily.

I managed to watch till episode 2 before giving up. Too bad Fukada Saki isn't as good in this drama as she was in LIFE and Daisuki!

Just watched the first two episode of Hanamura Daisuke. Even though it had no sound, and the subtitles were hard to read (I paused frequently), it was thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining. I like pretty much everything about it.
Hopefully it will continue to just as enjoyable.

btw, Kekkon Dekinai Otoko HD raws are now available at d-addicts.

Watched up to ep 4 of Home Drama last night.

I must say the premise is enough to make anyone feel their life isnt too bad but the mood is actually uplifting.

Thanx, AD. Im really liking it! Hug

watching Kekkon Dekinai Otoko (now at ep6), really liking the drama even though its pace does not change much but Abe Hiroshi's character very interesting.
i am just dying to know what happens at the end between him and the Dr. i really don't mind to know, so please spoil me. Bow

About Ghost Friends- I watched through parts of the first couple eps, mostly skipping through because it seemed incredibly dumb. I'm going to keep downloading it for trading purposes though.

Check the Kekkon Dekinai Otoko thread... Victory! Peace!

But don't you want to watch the drama all the way through? Getting there is half the fun. Smile

You mean six episodes in a row?

There have been several dramas where I've watched 'em all in one day. Beaten
