Finished Shibatora. It's your predictable "teen police" drama with the usual belief that everyone is good at heart and redeemable..... .....and the lead is the vehicle of this. Nothing compelling or unique, but I did enjoy it largely because of the cast of characters. Their interaction made you actually care even though the story itself is incredibly cheesy, thanks in no small part to some strong acting by Suzuka Ohgo.
Couldn't finish Celeb to Binbo Taro. This tried to take every rich girl-poor guy theme and squeeze it into one with the end result being a huge identity crisis. Compound that with the inability to like any of the characters in this series, and I just lost interest.

I remember having the same feeling when i was watching this drama some times ago. actually, i was following this drama every week that is why i think i could stand it up to ep 7 or 8. but by then i was so irritated by this drama that had to stop at once. taru was the most annoying person i could ever seen in any drama. _________________

Watched the first two episode of Muri na Renai. I enjoyed them, although perhaps (because) the quality of the translation was not the best, I felt I didn't fully understand some of the dialogue. I really like the old photos they showed in the opening and closing credits, and the two leads are both very good at delivering interesting, colourful characters. The actress who played Shogo's ex-wife looks like she had a lot of fun.

I also watched the first episode of Shibatora. For most of it, I didn't feel like I want to continue watching but for Ohgo Suzuka. After reading your comments, I will probably continue then, hopefully the cast alone is enough to make it enjoyable.

Did I send you that? My copy was quite good, I thought. Or maybe my understanding of Japanese is better than I thought
I thought the character of Chappy's secretary Shoko looked a little like LMF with her glasses on (but not as cute )

Those photos were from when the male lead and his old friend in the bar were in reality a very popular band in Japan called The Spiders... _________________

If episode two does the same, I think you might have your answer.
watched ep1 (from where i dozed off ), ep2, 3 and 4. of At Home Dad. i did not fall asleep this time but comparing to Kekkon Dekinai Otoku it did not get my full attention. it was kind of boring. Abe's character in kekkon... was much more intersting. in this one, all he does is to cook/clean/wash ... not much fun at all.
having a second thuoghts on whether to continue or just give up.
also watched ep3,4,5,6 of shiro haru. it is just great. _________________
