Man, I wish I could be there for the sole purpose of meeting the CLAMP artists. And this is coming from someone who doesn't really like shoujo manga at all (despite my username). I do like most CLAMP stuff though.

Hm. If you want detail, you can check here.

In my words, though, it's the story of Ginko, who has the ability to interact with strange plant/animal lifeforms that are called mushi. The unique individuals who have this ability are called mushishi, hence the title.

Not a whole lot of action, but a lot of good storytelling about various people affected by the existence of the strange creatures, and how Ginko helps them in their struggles/conflicts.

There's a movie (with Odagiri Joe, I believe) and an anime out there, as well.
