Finishied Nyokei Kazoku! I watched the last 5 eps in one night!
A very good drama! Everyone was so mean! it was amazing!
Takashima Reiko and Yonekura Ryoko were amazing!
I was already a Ryoko fan when I watched this drama, but it definitely made a die-hard for Takashima.

Pretty incredible how everyone can be so selfish and despicable, huh?

Up to episode 8 of Watashitachi no Kyokasho. Not as good as I hoped it would be. Ito Atsushi's character is just so annoying, and it doesn't help matters that he looks as if he is suffering from severe constipation all of the time. Too many riceballs perhaps?
Ignore that ass...You must finish this...the final episode is stunning! _________________
Esumi Makiko is still magnificent. Even past 40, wearing no make-up, and walking around in a drab business pants suit... she still made this less than believable lawyer drama worth watching. For me anyway.
A really lame entry to the Mother-in-Law / Daughter-in Law genre. It's the first thing I've seen Vivian Hsu in... and she sure is pretty. (Pretty enought to make me go in search of a better Vivian Hsu drama). But in this --- this beautuful 25 year old woman was acting in a part that was, at best, written for a precosious 8 year old girl. It got real old real fast.
Yeah, I watched this one strictly for Uchida Yuki. (The things I'll watch for Yuki. "Bambino"? "Medical dragon 2"? Jeez!)
Another summer time, ripped from a manga, special. This time about the glory of wine tasting. (Okay I'm biased. I worked in a wine shop for a few years and I always found the weekly wine tastings hilarious.)
Anyway... Yuki plays a rich, semi evil woman. So as a result she gets to dress to the nines in this one. Well worth sitting through the High School acting, and garmmar school writing of the rest of the series just to watch her work. For Yuki fans anyway.
Yup. I spent a week leering at Yuki, Makiko, and Vivian. I doubt I'll remember anything else about any of the three series two weeks from now. _________________

Okay, finished Arifureta Kiseki that was REAL good!
When episode 10 ended I thought, "I know where this is going." Wrong again. But that scene in the final episode around the table in the restaurant, Hisahi Igawa was great. In fact, the grandpa and grandma may have been my two favorite characters in the whole drama.

Started watching ep 1 of Buzzer Beat. My thoughts went like this-
Where's Yamapi? Why is that girl on the basketball team? Oh...
^
Lunch no Joou ep. 5 & 6. YamaPlank is in this too, which I didn't realise immediately. His acting is not as bad as I expected, but I really don't see what all the fuss is about. Apart from his ridiculous hair, he looks.... ordinary.
Takeuchi Yuko isn't, though. That smile could light up all of Tokyo

Wait, is this the first drama you're watching with YamaPi in it?

Right so what have I watched today
Eps 9-12 of The Quis Show Series 1, very good, very dark, I like =D
Ep 2 of Koishite Akuma - I am far from taking it seriously but it amuses me so I'm watching it XD
Ep 1 of Buzzer Beat - The first ep was a little boring but I shall continue and watch the next ep as the love story sounds cute
Tried to watch Ep 1 pf Yoiko no Mikata but could only watch the first 10/15 mins cos I was watching it online and the 2nd part didn't work seemed cute tho
Ep 1 of Hachi-One Diver - That was ... bizarre haha it could be good but I dunno if I can be bothered, wasn't OVERLY inspired by the first eps
Finally Eps 1-6 of Kiina which I love! XDDDDD I love Kiina and her and Yamazaki make a fun team =D Will finish that tomorrow
Who can top that for watching drama today? I'm gonna do my usual go to bed and re watch ep 7 of the Quiz Show 2
I will also check my legs are still working from all the lazing around today :S _________________

Funny, I just started LUNCH QUEEN a few days ago. I bought the drama for Takeuchi Yuko (loved her since PRIDE!), and you're right about that smile of hers. Especially when she takes a bite of that Kitchen Macaroni omurice... you can literally see all that happiness bubbling out of her pores, lol.
But I wasn't expecting the cornucopia of kawaii goodness a-cooking in the kitchen! (And I'm not just referring to all that yummy food porn, which in itself is enough reason to give this show a watch. ) Eguchi Yosuke! Tsumabuki Satoshi! Yamada Takayuki! Who ARE these actors, and where have they been all my life? Lol. (Oh, and YOU TOO, YamaPi...) Apparently, there IS life outside the Wonderful World of Kimuradorama, hahaha.
This was also my first dose of that YamaPi fella. But my, he's such a scrawny little chicken here, practically emaciated! (Well, he WAS just 17, after all.) Didn't Old Man Johnny ever feed him good? But, I dunno, I LIKE his slaphappy character, and he has the snarkiest lines, too.

finished Oishi Gohan yesterday. from ep 3 to ep8 (F). it has been loooooong time since i watched a drama ep by ep for hours.
just before i get labaled with the same pic of that couch potato picture by bmwracer , i have to say that i was ill and in bed and needed something to cheer me up.
i had a feeling that this drama was meant to increase tourism in makekura and just build a not so bad story around it. the song bits and actresses dancing was a bit annoying though. i give it 6/10 _________________
So you've been calling him YamaPlank without actually seeing him in a drama. That's such a peeve of mine. If you're gonna judge, WATCH first, so at least your comments are justified.
See, I can totally call him a plague. I think I've seen all his dramas. _________________
