So I finally finished Atsu-hime last night.

I can see why a lot of people didn't like it. But I was not one of them... I found it fascinating, and well-acted throughout, especially Miyazaki Aoi and Eita. It really added to my knowledge of that part of Japanese history too Smile

Though you need to take it with a grain of salt: like any movie/drama it's not all fact...

Yeah, I know that. But they couldn't change the things that actually happened.

I second that. I found it fascinating, enjoyable and a great learning experience. Even if the facts were slightly tarnished, overall I gained immense understanding of the Japanese history in the Edo period. It took great acting by Aoi chan and Eita and so many others to keep the interest level such that I looked forward to each episode since I normally care less for historical dramas over such lengthy time spans. Even in the moments when the drama lagged in order to fill 50 hours, I did not lose my curiosity for the upcoming episodes. I was somewhat dismayed in the bloody parts as I abhor violence but suppose it was necessary for the historical perspective.

Finished Cutie Honey the Live yesterday. It was really cute, had awesome fight scenes, and the ending made me CRY, omg. Puppy Dog Eyes

Tried Aim for the Ace (Esu o Nerae), but it was so boring and whiny and not exciting even after two episodes. Sad Boo.

Am now trying out Odoru Daisousasen, and hopefully it'll be really good. Big Grin

Watching Buzzer Beat, I can't hardly wait to see next episode, it's very interesting. Especially seeing Aibu Saki in her double personality, though I think she's way too cute to have that evil side.

Also watching At home dad the last episode, I wonder how it'll end up, though I'm sure it'll end up exactly like I assumed

BOSS ep10
they filled the whole drama with not so clever cases and left the best for last two eps. I think it would have much better if they tried to give us so clever hints or made us woder about it. more exciting to watch.
now i am waiting for ep11 badly. Bonk

now i need to finish orthrus no Inu ep2 because i slept half way though last night. Sweat
