I'll be looking for a new Drama coming up rather soon, can I get some opinions on the following shows, Please?
(In no order)
Fukigen na Gene
Ningen no Shomei
Mr Brain
Thanks!!
Dave
Dave: Only one I have seen the whole show was Mr. Brain, and it was funny and okay to watch. I do like KimTuc, as my wife calls him so we recommend Pride, Engine, Change, and especially Karei Naru Ichizoku. We watch most shows via MySoju. A good comedy we just watched is Taiho Shichauzo via Watch Drama Online. Brian _________________
I guess i am off topic, but i tried to watch Oishii Proposal on mysoju. The videos are hosted on Daily motion, i can't watch them. They are choppy and i am not able to leave it buffer beforehand. :s

A little :-) if you are looking for better quality you might want to consider downloading.
OT: I have some more heavy weights in my watchlist but ILll save them for winter. I was hoping some of you could recommend me:
- a lighter feel good, fun drama or
- a good mystery drama or SP
As for what I have seen, check my profile, too many to list here.

I noticed you have Maya Miki on your list of favorite actors--she had a significant role in the second Odoru Daisousasen movie playing a very ambitious superintendent who is put in charge of a major case which leads to a conflict with the gang from the Wangan precinct (she later reprised that role in the fourth Odoru Daisousasen movie).
If you liked Odoru Daisousasen, I think you'd enjoy Aibou. Like OD, Aibou is very much character-driven, but unlike OD, there's more emphasis on the police procedural aspect of crime solving. And like OD, there's a lot of humor as well. Excellent series.
Kuroki Hitomi is also on your list--she played the mother in Oyaji, a pretty good comedy imo.

You've mentioned several of my favorites. Taiho Shichauzo was pretty much the only anime I liked, so I had to watch the drama.
I haven't finished Pride, but I enjoyed Engine, Change and Karei Naru Ichizoku. KimuTaku is a very impressive actor. With great hair! _________________

Churasan definitely,
and perhaps Keizoku. The ending was very unpredictable but too far-fetched for me.

Thanks shin2 and xploring! Great suggestions, I will definitely check out Oyaji, Aibou and Keizoku. I believe I even own the first 40 or so episodes of Churasan and I have seen OD2 a few years ago. Time to go re-visit!

Yeah, downloading is definitely in a better quality.
I am looking for a bitter-sweet drama. Something like the girl likes the boy, and the boy doesn't seem to have interest in her. Something like Itazura na Kiss. Any suggestion? _________________

What Jdramas do you guys recommend for people who primarily watch Kdramas? I've asked this before in the past, but maybe there's something on the newer side that fits with what I'm looking for.
I was thinking something like:
~ Love Shuffle
~ Pride
Anything else people recommend? Definitely has to be a love story type. Can be a comedy or a tear-jerker type. Something with good-looking people and preferably no old people. You know how the Kdrama fans are. _________________

I just found out there will be a second season of Koshonin (link here), with all the cast coming back. That's something to look forward to... _________________
