We don't have pics of ourselves with them or anything, but we tried to take pics of them when we could see them. Most are very far away I wonder if I could blow them up Jon was quite hot that day! We saw Richie most often....but we saw the whole band, hehehe. They came to our Target store for some reason, to sign and promote "This Left Feels Right". There were so many people that we could not get our CD's signed, but I feel good about it cuz we saw them!
wow, that's pretty cool. i'm surprised they did it in a target instead towers record or something. anyway, i'm a big fan of him even from 'way back in the day' too.
About her: Born in 1968. Her first CD was in 1988 with "Horematshita" (Enchanted). She's been an enka singer from the get-go. She has appeared in almost every NHK Kouhaku since 2000, including the very recent 54th Annual where she sang ӂP (Futari Gasa). This past February, she released her first DVD "Junko Ishihara 15th Anniversary Debut Recital". Besides having an awesome voice and a complete total babe package wrapped in a kimono, Junko is extremely trained in shigin, or the ancient practice of poetry recitation. Shigin is a unique Japanese art form that was first practiced by small groups of aristocrats as long as 1500 years ago. In Laymen's terms, that basically means when she sings a song, she projects the lyrics like she was reading poetry, much like those morons you see on HBO's "Def Poetry".
