I don't know that so many people disliked Nagasawa in Yasashii Jikan.
I dislike her in just about everything I've ever seen her do... but I found her the least offensive in Yasashii... mostly because her character was silent for most of her scenes.
If she doesn't talk... if she doesn't act at me... I don't find her particularly offensive.
On to my viewing:
I tried to watch Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo (2005)

I think the material, the directing, and the quality of the actors around her helps a lot. I don't even mind Nino in this. I haven't seen her in anything else yet so I have no preconceived notions of her

Silence is golden, ne?

Kamenashi and Ueno Juri.
But I kept waiting for their stoner friend with his talking dog to show up.
I got about 30 minutes in when even the FF button failed me. Had to give it up.
Yeah, I wore the ink offa my FF button on this show too... The best part is when Juri-chan flips Kame's lame arse through a floor... That merited numerous replays.

Lol, that tanpatsu was pitifully bad. I remember my best friend telling me, "It is one of the stupidest things I have ever seen. Everyone's just sucky because the material is."

For me it sounded like a cat gagging on hairballs.
Then Gackt and Gollum oughtta record a single together, a ten-minute opus of tongue clicks, hacking coughs, and dry-heaves. The title -- Gackt to Gollum: Seishun Amigo.

Sadly I have to agree... I left brain after only 2 episodes...It is sad to see KimuTaku in such a brainless drama...
Kimu come back to your roots... more Pride, more Love Generation....
Yes, KimuTaku, come back, come back!!! Nobody does Romantic Drama Lead better than that guy.

Yup, if it weren't for the two episodes with Yukie this would probably be my pick for "worst Kimtaku drama ever"
Hmmm... for me that "horrorific" is a fair toss-up between CONCERTO and ASUNARO HAKUSHO. MR. BRAIN wasn't execrable bad, just... forgettable, IMO. The worst episode for me was the "Doctor Death" episode. Soporrrrrriffffic...
OT:
GOKUSEN 1. G1 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> G2 Definitely less frenetic and less cartoonish than G2. (And the 3-D classroom looked so... normal, unlike that pigsty in G2.) I actually found myself emotionally involved at some level--the Kumai boy's story in particular. And yeah, NOW I understand why there are like, 1 million YankumixShin shippers (...and why the Kame haters increased by 1 million when the movie came out, lol).

I am vindicated.
How you could skip G1 and watch the others is beyond reason.
Heh heh. I knew you'd say something like that.
Well, I never would've picked up G1 by itself, because the premise didn't appeal to me when it was aired locally a few years back. I guess I didn't really know what I was missing back then. But like I said before, I only got into this whole GOKUSEN thing because I'm a Kame completist. But for all of G2's flaws, I'm just thankful it pointed me to the original. And don't worry, I'm staying off G3. No reason for me to watch that one.
It was so... strange seeing MatsuJun and Oguri Shun in G1--or their beta versions, at least. So... this was what MatsuJun looked like, before the advent of eyebrow threading and orthodontia. Interesting...

Have you watched Kimi wa Petto? He did that right after Gokusen.

LOL.
That drama must've had more hair stylists than production crew staff.

I put in King's Restaurant the other night intending to watch for 20 minutes or so and ended up watching all 4 episodes on the disc. It was great. There were a lot of little things, with continuity and characters' development, that I don't remember noticing before.

Falling in love while watching dorama--yeeeah, it's been known to happen.
Yes you should if you like the idea of a weirdly cute human dog melting the heart of an Ice Queen with his brand new fixed set of teeth. Also it is kind of amusing to see Jun so submissive
