Damn, we agree on just about everything now! Most people I know go "Eww...menthol???" hehe Marlboro Menthol Regulars aren't bad....in Japan they don't have Newports so I would smoke those once in a while when I was there. But I really need to quit. This habit is not good, and it's so expensive Beaten Cigs in the U.S. are ridiculously high priced. Mad

Woo hoo...hmm..I wonder if we were born under the same sign? Crazy Anyhow, yeah I don't know why they're so bothered with "menthol" I like it. I agree yet on another point, it's bad to smoke and also expensive, which is I smoke occassionally now. I try to avoid smoking when I get so stressed out 'cause that situation is usually what triggered me to smoke.

holy shit, thats pretty cheap...good thing i dont live in japan. i might turn into a smoke stack especially around those times when college starts getting tough and stressful

I know Cry I went there for a college semester so that plus cheap cigs = me smoking more. And then they are in vending machines on every corner Nut While I was there, my cigs were 270 or 280 yen, I think. They went up to 300 yen. Still, that's nothing compared to what I pay in the U.S. ;____;

Hey, ya'll's smokers. Please to explain the . . . craving for smoking to us non-smokers. You have a point-of-reference for it, for us? Is it akin to enjoying a cold cup or glass of water after walking through the desert for an hour? What? Explain. Seriously, I'm . . . still trying to understand. Are you craving the smoke? Or is it something else in it (as Michael Mann's The Insider tells us)?

Hmm..maybe the same question can be apply to ask "why do you like chocolate so much?" or "why do you like to drink Beer so much?"..I think there's something that makes you get addicted to that which sometimes is unexplainable.

The insider.? .hmm..at least I don't give a false disclaimer.. hehe Beaten

LOL, I don't see the same comparison, not exactly. Smoking is just a bad habit that is hard to break. Like, after a meal, or when we wake up in the morning....a craving comes and ya do it. And when we run out....we get bitchy, LOL. Maybe it's like chocolate or beer if you come accustomed to having it at a certain time daily. Like if you had a beer after dinner every single night, then suddenly you look in the fridge after your dinner and see there is no beer in there....more than likely you'll go out and buy more. A habitual routine thing. For me it seems more of the action rather than the nicotine. But I dunno...I never tried the patch. I'm used to actually smoking so I think the patch wouldn't be as helpful...who knows..

try driving down to VA for cartons, about $25/a carton of marlboro reds (the standard for cigs). menthals would cost a little more, but no where near the prices in the tri-state area.

Actually, Delaware is supposed to be the place to go for us up here. Could you imagine all the gas money I'd spend going to Virginia? Google Drive 2-3 hours for cigs, LOL. Delaware takes 30-40 minutes and has deals on certain brands alternating each month. They switch from Newport and etc. for 1 month, then back to Marlboro and the like for the next month.

yeah but if you buy about 50 cartons, you can make a bundle of loot. As a matter of fact, there was this case in va here that these al-quaida suspects was doing the same thing in raising funds before they were caught. (sorry for the side-track)

If you want to kill yourself by smoking, wouldn't it be easier just to suck on the tailpipe of your car 'til you pass out?

Never smoked before....my dad used to smoke though - started when he was 12 years old...he tried to quit so many times but eventually he did cold turkey because he ended up with a lump in his throat...his doctor advised him to quit smoking - so my dad did only because the ummm...health concern scared the hell of him.
