Tamaki's Hong Kong Concert Turns into a Handshake Event

Preparing for his solo concert at Star Hall in March, Nodame Cantabile's lead actor Tamaki Hiroshi accepted an interview yesterday from Mingpao. He revealed that he will be giving fans attending his first HK concert a huge gift to show his appreciation - by shaking hands with each and every attendee. Tamaki specifically chose HK and Korea to hold his first concerts outside of Japan because he felt both cities were lively and exciting, greatly appealing to him. However he hopes to hold concerts in other parts of Asia in the future.
Tamaki has made a name for himself after appearing in Nodame Cantabile. "I'm very happy when I hear people calling me 'Chiaki', because it means the character has left an impression on the audience." When asked which character in the drama he'd like to play? Tamaki said, "I'd want to try Eita's Mine Ryutaro, because he has such a great personality." As for his onscreen love interest? "Ueno and I are very compatible together, as she is the longest actress I've collaborated with."
Tamaki had previously lost a lot of weight filming his movie MW. Many people were worried about his health. But he said, "I weigh 60kg right now, which is 5kg heavier than before. I guess you can say this is my best figure." He explained that his heaviest was at 80kg, but he's learned to be more careful controlling his weight.
