I traded with this person about a good 1/2 yr to 8 months ago.

I was to send a bunch of movies (*.avi w/ srt subs) for a few jpop dsics in return.

She got my discs (i sent first), replied asking how to play them, and said she would send them, but never did.

Normally i wouldn't post this since I was just out a few cdrs and a bit of time, but I saw another post of this person and it reminded me of the situation.

I still have all the emails we exchanged if anyone would like proof/evidence.

this person was on noated.com, not sure if she still is, but also got a neg. feedback after a few trades for something similiar.

This is just a FYI.

It's now been 3 months since the guy at Gojira cashed my check.

Not took the order, but cashed the check.

Still no discs.

No response to my last two emails.

Sorry to hear it dude.... I always had great luck with him I think if I ever order or trade with him again I'd try one VHS set because that's where I had all the luck, and all his DVD-R is from the VHS he has anyway Did you do DVD-R? Sorry, I forget...

My order was for DVDrs.

But to be honest with you, DVDr or VHS... 3 months and counting is, I think, out of line.

"Gojira" is the name he's given his site. His business. The place where he sells DVDrs for $7.00 per disc. (It's a nice, professional looking site, and you can find it with most search engines.)

His name is Jason. And I have no idea whether he visits JDorama or not.

I'm not posting this as some sort of crusade or vendetta. It's simply a warning.

The guy clipped me for $98.00.

In the past 3 months he's ignored 80% of my emails. And when he did respond, the tone was snarky, belligerent, and self righteous.

And until the next anniversary, I guess that's all I've got to say about the guy.

Geezer, you're to nice to say it, but I will: the guy's a punk. Plain and simple.... He took your money, then gave you attitude when you asked for what was owed to you. No matter how you slice it: PUNK.

All I was saying was....since VHS is rarely ordered now, I would see how fast I'd get them because most ppl wouldn't get it, and there would be no real excuse for "techinical issues". I was actually about to contact him about getting a series. If I do, I'll post the results here. Since I've dealt with him several times over the past 2 years and it was smooth, I kinda feel like I should try it again myself and see what happens. Call it denial if ya will, it's hard for me to believe he'd be ripping people. That's not saying what he's done to you is not crappy! After all this time, there is no real excuse not to contact you! Even if he had a technical issue with DVD-R's a burner or something, he should have touched base with you. It's common courtesy. An email takes 2 minutes to compose, so he should have done that. I believe that if he had at least alerted you to a problem you would have understood (to some extent). I think I'll email him and see if he's backed up before I decide to request....

And amrayu, who ordered a copy of the same series, on DVDr, AFTER I'd ordered mine, says she got hers in a week.

I can't explain it. I did my part. I placed the order, he accepted it, I sent the check and he cashed it.

At the two month mark I started sending emails, asking if there was a problem.

Two weeks ago I told him that if he's over booked, or can't deliver, I wanted a refund.

The response I got to that one was; Orders are filled in the order in which they are recieved.

No apology for the (at the time) two and a half month wait.

The possibility of a refund was completely ignored.

I haven't heard back from him since. (Not even after I sent him an e-anniversary card, to mark 3 months since he cashed the check.)

If you order from him, and get what you want... I'm happy for you.

But my experience in dealing with this guy has been very different, and considering how helpful people have been to me, here at JDorama, I wouldn't have felt justified in not posting a warning.

man.. that really sucks.. does he not have anything that you can use to seek how his order queues are? I dunno that many people does it, but I do it on mine, and I would think that it would of be absurd not to have one.

Ok, I hope I don't have to eventually edit this to be a bad seller/trader review. Does anyone know Renchan ([email protected]), located in the Philippines? I don't know her member name here. I posted in BST back in like late January/early February looking for a VCD set. She emailed me privately and said she could help me out. She got my payment even though there was a problem with the mail. She has responded to my emails most of the time, but it took a long time for her to mail the set. She said she mailed it the first week of April, and it has NOT arrived. I emailed her again asking what was going on and she said she mailed them already. A month later, I have nothing. She emailed me a couple weeks ago saying she'd be going away out of the country until May 22 and asked if I got them. I responded and didn't hear anything, so I guess I have to wait until she comes back to get a response

My gut feeling is that I've been ripped off. I hope not, but mreh!! However I have some second thoughts because she would always respond to my emails to give me status. She emailed a few times on her own. Especially with international transactions, she could have easily ignored me and took my money without responding. If she ripped me, I only lost $20 but still....I wanted the items. I will update if I get the items or if I hear back. Until then, take it as a slight warning ahead of time. I will update if it comes, but at this point I doubt it will come.

Btw, Geezer: I emailed Jason @ Gojira to make a request a few days ago. I have gotten no reply as of yet.....
