I thought it was weird... The first time I saw it, it was lie "Wow, that's sorta WASP-ish..."

Nowadays the average woman or I should say the average young woman probably only has a few rare occasions to wear a tiara. Possibly to a prom, to a quinceaneras party, or as a bride on her wedding day. So why not to the Olympics? Especially if you just won a medal!
OT- Evgeni Plushenko appears to be a sore loser. Or should I say a gold medal loser. He seems to think he deserved the gold medal in men's figure skating all because he jumped the quad and Evan Lysacek didn't. It is called Figure Skating not Figure Jumping Evgeni!

If that's so, why didn't Evan put on a crown when he won the gold?

'Cus he is not a young lady! Plus he had all of that gel in his hair and the tiara would probably have slipped off. I think every man should try to wear a tiara at least once in his life. It is special! Why do you think so many little girls like to drsss up like princesses?
Wow they are starting to use the expression another 'Cold War" when referring to Plushenko's anger at Lysacek for winning the Gold in men's figure skating. He really thought it was all about the quad! Grow up Plushenko!
@Wynter - Those Vancouver Olympic Canadian red mittens with the maple leaves on them are supposed to be a rare find! Good Luck finding a pair! Oh wait I just heard on TV they are a rare find in the Olympic sports venue area. The athletes said if you go outside of that area and to the downtown mall in Vancouver they have plenty of those red mittens. They are cute!!! I bet you find them in your local mall Wynter!
In case anyone is interested the official home shopping network to sell the American Olympic gear is QVC. That isn't considered Spam is it?

That was an amazing game to watch! I'm not generally a hockey fan, but that kept me on edge all three periods.
It's so difficult. I don't like cheering on Team USA against Canada. It just feels... wrong.
