I like Takako Matsu too. But naturally for me no one comes close to
Kuraki Mai. I have all her tour DVDs now. I even buy them instead of just d/l. I enjoy the literature that comes with the store package.

BoA used to be my number one favorite but Mai-K just knocked her right off after I first heard her in red/white contest several years ago.

And she's cute too.... yippee.

Good choices, Momoe is forgotten/unknown by too many....and where was Pink Lady? My current faves, not that it matters, is Ai Otsuka, Hitomi Yaida, Shiina Ringo, Nanase Aikawa, and of course, everyone's #1.

& first japanese artis that make me collect the original CD/dvd is ayumi hamasaki...i love her songs like M, fly high, you, love, teddy bear,girl,etc.. & her live concert is very awesome...
& then i begin to collect/dl other my fave artists stuff..like L'arc-en-ciel..this band is very awesome...i like their songs & live performance

my current fave is ueto aya..cos i like her songs & her voices...her live performance is very attactive for me..
& ..umm..i like younha too...first time i listen her "houki boshi~bleach theme song" song..i felt this song is great..& younha speak japanese,english & korean very fluently ... & she can play piano like a master...greattt

I also love Tane Tomoko's music - one of the most unique voices I've ever heard, like a Japanese Phoebe Snow or Kate Bush.
