I've just started Magerarenai Onna

http://jdorama.com/drama.1493.htm

No shock here. I'll watch just about anything Kanno Miho or Nagasaku Hiromi are in. And to have them working together figures to be a major treat. And I have to admit... Tanihara Shosuke is growing on me.

^ Just watched the last episode - the drama was a real treat for me, not so much for the script but because of the acting trio Kanno, Nagasaku, Tanihara. Applaud

Now back to Fumo Chitai ep 5.

From a detective aspect, yes.

It's quite a bit more tongue in cheek than Jiko Keisatsu.

I just finished Episode 8 of "Attention Please" starring Ueto Aya, and liking it lots despite a whole lot of condescending reviews of it...

As is usually the case in J-doramas, the moral of the story is a powerful one - basically the virtues of ambition and achievement, of determination against formidable odds, the struggle to better oneself even when it doesn't feel good. As is also the case in J-doramas, the contrast of such ethical lessons - within what is otherwise just a light-hearted comedy(!) - is so far above the retro-barbarian dreck that pollutes American television on the civilization scale that it's almost painful to contemplate.

Soapboxing, sorreee...
Victory! Peace!

Decided to take a gamble and watch one I had never heard of, the winner was...Hanayome Wa Yakudoshi! Dancing Actaully I'm the winner, it's been so enjoyable that I've watched 8 episodes over the last 2 days! Most of the cast are not too known(to me) but are so good to watch, though no doubt it's Ryoko's show, never seen her in anything bad. Victory! Peace!
