Oh, forgot to add THE ABSOLUTE BEST ONE I AM WATCHING NOW......
Airing in Japan now: "Orange Days" -- It is unbelievably good, I get near tears or cry EVERY episode! And it is so funny....and the cast ain't so hard on the eyes either (hehehe). Tsumabuki Satoshi (Black Jack ni Yoroshiku, Dekichatta Kekkon) or Shibasaki Kou (Good Luck!) fans MUST WATCH this whenever it becomes available. I believe the raws are available now on some downloading mediums as it's still being aired in Japan.
It's a really sweet, pure love story with cute friendship links. Kou plays Sae, a deaf girl who is talented at music, but because she can no longer hear, her dreams of becoming a skilled violinist are near crushed. She's selfish and self-centered...until she meets Kai--played by Tsumabuki--and he opens the softer side of her personality, while struggling with his own problems of growing up and deciding who and wants he to be, too.
I hope that people can get their hands on this soon, I don't wanna be the only one watching it now! I have episode 1, but I don't how good I would be at translating it......

Finally found Pride in JB with Malay subtitles and watching it now. Just finished episode 5 and I really enjoy the chemistry between Takuya Kimura and Yuko Taguechi! Great show...worth the wait and worth the trip to JB last weekend!!

Finally was able to continue Pride as well and I'm only missing the last episode! Hey, did you notice that the boy who play Yuriko Ishida's son was also with her in Cross of Roses as the son of Mikami and Amami? Until I took a look at the credits in the beginning and there was his name, the only similarities I could find was Ishida herself as well as the female adversary's name being 'Aki'

Finally got my broadband two weeks ago and playing catch up on jdramas
1)Beach Boys: only managed to get 5 episodes when I was on 56k. The 5 episodes were only building up the story with nothing much really happening. Hard to say without watching the whole thing.
2)Good Luck: Only up to ep 9. The first 5 episodes were really good. I especially liked the last scene of ep 5. I found 6-9 not as interesting.
3)Pride: 4 eps. So far so good. Really good music, acting etc. The ice-hockey parts were shot real well.
4)One million stars fall from the sky: 2 eps. Seems interesting. This is one drama which is very dependent on the ending.
5)Itsumo futari de: 4 eps. Passable drama but lack of chemistry hurts it, imo.

The new season of "Kasouken no On'na" (The Woman of Forensics Lab) starring Yasuko Sawaguchi started. I've seen the first 3 episodes. Yasuko is about 40 now but she is still quite beautiful.

I am resuming Yan Papa. I first thought it was kind of boring, but now I realize it is very moving and funny and Nagase Tomoya is hilarious. I like his new hair cut, he looks very wholesomely handsome in this, .

Waah! lucky you! I totally agree your comment on Yasuko Yasuko is beautiful, kinda resembles Hitomi Kuroki, an ageless beauty
*waiting for Kiku to licence the series in the US*

If you like Ice World, you're probably gonna like Hypnosis. To me it's very interesting and some say it's better than Ice World. My friends think so too! _________________

Sawaguchi is my favorite Yasuko, but I just saw another pretty Yasuko (Tomita) last night on an episode of Saturday Night at the Mysteries -- "Free Josei Ana no Satsujin Report" (Free Female Announcer's Murder Report"

Finally watching Okusama wa Majo, yay! Bought it today, . I am surprised they used the original theme from the American Bewitched at the beginning of the show, and kept all the tongue-in-cheek politically-correct kissing scene, violence scene, hehe.
Finished watching the HK movie MY WIFE IS 18, it is so funny and romantic, even though this is a JDorama website, I still highly recommend it.

Finished watching "Okusama wa Majo" in 1.5 days! A really great show! (read my review for more details). That was a $15 well-spent, . Highly recommend it to anybody who loves a good heart-warming comedy, and especially fans of the original "Bewitched."
Will start to watch "Nurse no Oshigoto 4" soon...hope to get "The Poet" with Matsu Takako soon.
