I don't think that you meant me with that, but just let me stretch that I have seen Attention Please in its whole, including both Specials (Hawaii and Sydney). I love the show! Too bad it didn't receive a third Special... Sad

I want Misaki Yoko back!

ILd love to see Aya back in the role for another special, as well! But I think they wonLt do another one anymore. ItLs too long ago since it was on TV and I think itLs already rare to have 2 specials for a j-dorama. Usually there is only 1 or none at all.
And it seems Aya is aiming for more matureand feminine roles anyways. Well, the older ones were more special and more fun, I think.

And I loved every second of it Wink
Currently, though, I am watching a non-Aya Drama; KouKou Kyoushi 1993.
I know I said I wouldn't watch it, because I don't want the image of the 2003-version to be shattered, but I must say I really like it so far. It's entirely different, with some similarities, one being the character of Fujimura-san (played by the same person in both).

Final question, though... when is Zettai Reido episode 3 subbed? I want to watch it so badly! Bow

P.S.
I am thinking of buying Azumi on Blu-Ray Disc. I already own the DVD's... do you guys/girls think I should? Smile

A small Azumi Bluray Comparison Mr Green
Maybe some of you are interested how the thai Azumi bluray looks like... I made a few caps to compare the quality.
The caps are uncompressed and untouched.
The Bluray caps are from the Thai bluray movie version, the DVD caps are from the original Japanese Extended edition, whichLs picture quality in superior of all other worldwide DVD releases.
I made 3 caps per scene; 1 original BD cap( 1BD), one original DVD cap (1DVDorg) and 1 DVD cap, enlarged up to fit with the BD resolution, for better comparison. (1DVD)

ILd say the BD is definately better looking and a little bit cleaner, sharper and more detail then the DVD. But still not really what ILd expect from a perfect quality Hollywood Bluray nowadays. I canLt tell how good the original source material of the movie is, though. Maybe the soure isnLt perfect and a bit blurry anyways. My guess would be itLs a well made upcale and no new BD transfer from the original Film material.

But still, I love Aya chan in 1080p and itLs worth it! Rolly

Best save all the caps and view them is full resolution with ACDSee or so.

Anyone have any input on the quality of the English subs for the first one? If they are good, I might considering getting it.

They are good. I only watched a few minutes and canLt compare with the subs from the rips back then... but fits, no errors and look fine.
And I suggest getting them from ebay. Will save you more than $6 ^^

Thanks for the info, but when you factor in the shipping it isn't cheaper on ebay. Sweat http://cgi.ebay.com/Japan-Movie-Azumi-Blu-ray-Eng-Sub-Ueto-Aya-/260617401417?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_DVD_HD_DVD_Blu_ray&hash=item3cae01f449
