bump

Up to epi 55 of Hitomi. Better than I thought it would be at first, but it got terrible ratings which I attribute to the waning interest in asadoras.

Shinzanmono is not Hiroshi Abe best work but it's alright. Check out "Kekkon Dekinai Otoko" if you haven't already, or At Home Dad, White Spring. Those are much better! Enjoy! w00t!

I have heard the same from many people, but I have seen almous all Abe Hiroshi dramas that's why I'm left with Shinzanmono now heh. Hope it's at least decent to watch.

Abe is what makes Shinzanmono worth watching, otherwise it would probably be a bore.

Finally jumped on the Zeni Geba bandwagon, hehe up to episode 3, needed this kind of dark, dreary, revengeful drama to cheer me up. Nut

It's episodes like today, ep 56, that probably drove viewers away. Who wants to see a lesson in a foster home office. That would be fine in a documentary, but don't try selling social issues in an asadora. We want to see the story of the principals, not the general problems of a society. Save the preachy teachy for church or something. Grumble

Episode 6 of Zeni Geba. Even though Futaro was a fairly low person from the beginning it was easy to root for him, Sweat getting harder to now, he's bringing vileness to a new level. Bow

Sad to say that I'm dropping Shinzanmono, too boring for my taste. Even Abe Hiroshi can't save it. Watched 2 episodes and the reason was only because Abe is in it.
Propably gonna check Dekichatta Kekkon or Love revolution next.

1 Litre does not fall under romance in my book (I don't think in anyones).
The relationship between the two leads is very platonic...

I haven't watched it yet, so it's only an assumption.

Just decided to give Mop Girl a go this morning and ended up finishing all 10 episodes in one day. With a big enjoyment of course, this drama is greater than I expected :p

Felt the same way, didn't go in expecting a really good drama but it was quite good, Applaud wanna re-watch it but too big of a backload is piling up. Sweat 2 more episodes of Zeni Geba left, it's only 9 episodes, then it's on to the Sabu series, Troubleman, looking forward to that one. Fingers crossed

Hey Tartan, have you seen "Egao no Hosoku" (Always Smiling")? Hiroshi Abe is in it, but the main focus is the girl. It's still pretty good and enjoyable to watch. A nice light hearted drama!
