Sanseido and Kinokuniya carry the book that NHK puts out every year. The one 7th key is showing is put out by Tokyo Press, I would wait for the NHK one, it'll have NHK somewhere on the cover.

They run about 200 pages. The first 60 or so have pictures and interviews with the cast, then there's a history lesson part telling what really happened, usually a "making of" part with some pictures, interviews with the director or writer and another interview with the top 2 or 3 stars. The last 60 or 70 pages are a synopsis of the drama.

My collection is pretty lame, just Shinsengumi, Fuurin Kazan, Tenchijin, and Ryomaden. I'm guessing groink has every single one ever made. Sweat

but like bmwracer said, not really surprising. Well, I was a little surprised by Hideyoshi not wearing a traditional chonmage, but then even on old drawings, he never appears with one. Nobunaga and Ranmaru are out by default. Naughty

So far, I�Lm really impressed with the details the costume designer and stylists are working with in Gou. Like, the Mori sibling�Ls shaved plates, yet Ranmaru kept his full hair and child garments, like it�Ls historically correct. And Nobunaga�Ls fashion style. They really made their homework! Applaud

Gou is really, really promising!
