I finally got around to finishing Fumo Chitai. I thought it was pretty good. I am sucker for those period piece/historical setting dramas. It is one of the few dramas I recall watching that takes place during the postwar economic period. The only one that comes to mind is Karei naru Ichizoku which I think was written by the same screenwriter.
There's Top Sales, which takes place in the 1960's and 70's...

Episode 4 of Homework, really a thin plot but so captivating though. Really enjoy these real old ones a bit more than most current ones, no cellphones is a big plus, makes for more face to face interactions plus the more conservative look I prefer too. _________________
It's a coming of age comedy about a 30 year old loser, who can't find a girl, can't find a regular job... simply hasn't found his life. And then one day he enters into a period of popularity. Women, beautiful women, take note of him and change his empty life into something... confusing.
A good story, some terrific performances, and an ending that was better than I'd hoped for. Great fun.
This week I started on Guilty Akuma to Keiyakushita Onna... again.
"Again" because I've started it before, and walked away because I was looking for something light and fluffy. And "Guilty" isn't light and fluffy.
I'm 4 episodes in, and it's a dark, cold hearted revenge story. And I guess you have to be in the mood.
The cast is amazing, and so far the writing... the plotting has been very very good. Now that I've gotten myself into the story, I find myself really looking forward to finding out how it turns out. _________________

^^ That one looks interesting, hadn't heard of it, was just looking at Rio's bio looking for another of her dramas, funny how that works.
Just finished Homework, really got into it, like most early dramas heavy on the drama, much prefer character driven shows like this, just the simple life of 2 couples which rapidly becomes complicated. Also enjoy the more conservative style back then, things have really changed over there in the last 20 years.

Just finished Liar Game Season one which I quite enjoyed , currently watching Dousoukai - Hitomi Kuroki performance is amazing, Shin Kasouken no Onna 2 , Hotaru no Hikari 2 and Team Medical Dragon 3 - nice to see so many good actors in just one show.

I looked up the j-drama "Moteki", and it seems interesting to watch, but I tried it on Mysoju.com, but it seems it is not there yet....perhaps some other time.

Yeah, I signed up so I could watch it but I get an "access denied" thingy... something about security levels, seems kinda confusing. Will keep trying. Are you a paid member or something?
