Kuroki Meisa cast as heroine in �gAndalucia: Megami no Houfuku�h

Actress Kuroki Meisa has picked up another heroine role in a major motion picture, she will now be joining Oda Yuji in �gAndalucia: Megami no Houfuku,�h the sequel to the 2009 blockbuster �gAmalfi: Megami no Hoshu.�h
Ito Hideaki was recently announced as Oda�fs co-star in the film, bringing together the leads of two of Japan�fs most successful movie franchises ever (�gOdoru Daisousasen�h and �gUmizaru�h). This will be Kuroki�fs first time on screen with either of the two actors.
Oda reprises his role as the diplomat Kuroda Kosaku, who gets sent to Spain after the murder of a Japanese financier. Ito plays an Interpol detective investigating the murder, though he aims to keep Kuroda in the dark about the case. Kuroki plays an elite banker who happened to witness the crime, making her a key figure in solving the case.
�gAndalucia: Megami no Houfuku�h premieres on June 25, 2011.
Kuroki Meisa set to release new single �gOne More Drama�h in April
Kuroki Meisa�fs new single �gOne More Drama�h is set to be released on April 13th!
This single comes out only three months after the release of her album �gMAGAZINE�h which was released back on Janurary 26th. With her album, she appealed to everyone with her presence as an artist in addition to her abilities as an actor. This new single features an electro taste with a flamenco guitar bringing a new kind of sound to us. The song features a strong and daring woman as the main character.
The coupling song will be called �gGo Ahead.�h This song is being used as the theme song for SEIKO�fs web commercial.
Kuroki Meisa presents the �gL�fOréal-UNESCO Award�h
On July 12th, actress and singer Kuroki Meisa attended the award ceremony for the �gL�fOréal-UNESCO Awards for Women in Science�h as a presenter.
Kuroki is the current face of L�fOréal, and presented a special award given by Tohoku University.
�gIf I had to choose my favorite subject it would be science as well,�h she commented. Kuroki then added, �gIt gave me a lot of courage, realizing how many different fields women are successfully active in. I�fd like to work hard to give other people the same courage.�h
Nobel Prize winner Shirakawa Hideki also attended the event.
Kuroki Meisa and Terry Ito announce their new CM for �gSEIKO�h!
On August 31st, talento Terry Ito (61) and Kuroki Meisa (23) attended a commemoration event for the 130th anniversary for watch company �gSEIKO�h. At the event, they also announced their new CM for SEIKO in Tokyo.
The CM theme has been announced to be �gDoki Doki Kara, Watashi wa Kagayaku (Starting with heart throbs, I will Shine)�h and Kuroki will play the role of a strong woman. Although it has been said that this era is full of strong women especially after the victory of Nadeshiko Japan, Terry Ito said, �gI think without a wonderful man, women are boring. There are no women will reach their growth without the strength of men,�h and spoke his opinion to the audience.
He admitted, �gStarting from 13 years ago, my right shoulder has been decreasing in strength.�h He then added, �gI plan to train at a gym while aiming for Kuroki.�h
On the other hand, Kuroki said, �gI think age has nothing to do with this. I think you could teach me things that I have never heard of before,�h and gave her position on the positive aspect of aging. Terry, in response, said, �gPlease give me your email address,�h and joked around with the actress after her comment.
