Has anyone else had problems with PhotoBucket today? The main pages and albums are not set up like they normally are, cannot even upload anything. Restarted my computer which did not help, think it's their problem though not 100% of that.
I haven't had any issues with the site. Although, lately l've used ImageShack & Minus over PB because of faster uploads.

^^ It's okay now but was somewhat down for about 2 hours. Been using IS more as of late too, nice that there's no limits on anything, so much easier in PB though to organize and edit things, which there was one site that could put both of their good points together. _________________

I bought a new external hdd recently but with the ext hdd connected, my computer would often be stuck on the intel screen during startup. Does anyone know why and how to fix it? Startup is fine with the hdd disconnected. Thanks in advance.

Your PC is probably trying to boot from the external HDD.
You probably need to get into your BIOS and tell the PC to boot only from the HDD and/or CDROM drives and ignore any USB-connected drives.

Crap, I just got hit with the Spyware Protection Trojan, one of those damn programs that takes over your computer and prevents you from running anything. It says everything is infected, even the Task Manager.
I hate those things. Luckily it wasn't hard to remove, but I can see some people getting tricked into paying $60 for a useless program. _________________

What antivirus program are you using?
Microsoft Security Essentials. Well, last year I was using AVG and got hit with another similar trojan. That's why I knew how to get rid of this one so fast. _________________

I started using that about 4 months ago, it was suggested by the Microsoft help person when I was having severe issues with the internet between virus attacks, freezing up, etc, had been using Verizon. After I switched to the Microsoft Security Essentials, it's like I have a new computer, constantly blocks anything and everything, updates and scans every day, my computer works better than when I first got it, should have started using it a long time ago, it's been really solid and free which was the best part. _________________
Verizon 4G is now available, and just read off Yahoo about the Xoom tablet, and if I read correctly $300 for 2 years of service with contract on their 4G network, I doubt it is unlimited internet use, more like a limit of 2G? I'm just wondering if anyone has the Xoom or any tablet and how much are they paying monthly for internet service.
I would guess as the competition for internet tablet use goes up, the monthly costs of service will fall. Still $300/2 years, is like $12.50 per month for 2 years doesn't sound too bad.

You're right but...
Motorola XOOM LTE update takes 8 days; no contract change required
News by Michael Oryl on Friday February 25, 2011.
Verizon Wireless has posted some information on the free LTE(INFO) 4G upgrade that will eventually be available to Motorola XOOM tablet owners. Among the upgrade information posted by Verizon are a few interesting nuggets that are worth pointing out.
Firstly, the upgrade will require that the XOOM be sent back to Motorola for the actual hardware installation. There had been talk of in-store upgrades before, but that is obviously not going to be the case now. Verizon says that users will be without their XOOM approximately 6 business days (including the shipping time), which translate to 8 real days in most cases. That's quite a while.
On the bright side, Verizon has said that no change in data plan for the XOOM will be required once the LTE functionality has been added. That would suggest that XOOM users will be able to benefit from the 5Mbps+ speeds at no additional cost, which is very nice to hear (and unexpected).
Verizon also says that it will be possible to encrypt the XOOM's content before the Motorola guys start rearranging its guts. This, the carrier says, will keep your content and accounts secure. Verizon still recommends that users back up important data before sending their XOOMs in for the upgrade.
As to when all this magic takes place, all we are seeing is "shortly after launching" the XOOM. Other reports had pegged the update as coming in 90 days or so, which seems feasible. If it were any sooner than that, we would have figured that LTE just would have been built-in instead.
Check out our in-depth hands-on report of the Motorola XOOM for Verizon Wireless, the first Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet computer to hit the market.
Ok, in that case, personally I would just wait for the 4G version.

I think Verizon no longer offers an unlimited data plan. You would have to get either 1GB, 3GB, 5GB or 10GB/month plan.

I'm trying out IE9, and it is way faster than IE8! It uses your GPU to speed up graphics and is multithreaded, and the diffence is not subtle. It also finally has a download manager although I'd like a few new options in it.
First page I tried was CNN, and it just popped up. But it only works on Vista and Windows 7. XP is left out. _________________
