Funny.

I recognized Michael Schumacher and Mika Hakkinen, but not Nico Rosberg. Smile

I can't tell if you're agreeing or not... Shake Head

Fashion is a form of art in a different discipline. If you don't like it, that's cool. Everyone has their own opinion. But calling it a "freak show" is a bit much.

I'm not offended. But those are offensive words. Let's keep things nice and pleasant here! Smile

Just trying to funny. Bleah

I definitely understand it as an artistic endeavor. Obviously some of the pieces shown at runway shows are not intended to be part of Prêt-à-Porter collections.

Given your artistic endeavors, if you're interested in exploring the process (and the people!) who work in fashion, as I discussed with the Beastmaster previously, I recommend the following documentaries:

March Jacobs and Louis Vuitton (2007)

AND

Valentino: The Last Emperor (2008)

Thanks for the recommendations! I actually own Valentino! I gave it to the Fashion teacher at my school to show to her students before I even watched it and ever got it back. Beaten

Hehe.

You're welcome. Smile The Last Emperor is a great documentary. The only other film that comes to mind is the Karl Lagerfeld documentary, "Lagerfeld Confidential," but I found the docs I recommended above to be more informative endeavors regarding fashion as a creative discipline. Nonetheless, you may want to check it out.
