Terrible game. The Lakers showed no fight and didn't defend the three ball whatsoever. But I'm not as bitter about this game as games 1 and 3. If they had won those games the series would be tied 2-2.

Agreed.

If they had played a better 4th in each of those games, it would be 2-2.

What a lousy way for Phil to end his coaching career. Shake Head

KG was big, imho he was the mvp of that game.
That Rondo injury was awful, they kept showing the replay that my elbow started to hurt. Sweat

Celtics lose in OT to the Heat, 98-90.

Thunder even things up in the series with the Grizz in triple OT, 133-123.

I think the Celts are done, watching the 2nd half of game 3 they were just over celebrating too early, doing that to your opponent will come back to haunt you, Sweat plus that had to be one of Garnett's worst offensive games of his career. Beaten

Yeah, go Bulls though I can't stand them, think they have a slight chance against the Heat, the Hawks? Shake Head

Celts had a terrible offensive night. The last play at the end of regulation sumed up the night for the Cs. Ray getting picked by KG. Beaten

Celtics are eliminated by the Heat, 97-87.

Time to root for all other teams other than the Heat.

They were outmatched in the series especially Pierce vs. James and Allen vs. Wade, they just couldn't stop them, Shake Head if the Heat had hit their FTs they would have won by 20. Also, that trading away of Perkins really hurt them, Beaten no presence in the middle and the bench except for West was so disappointing, time to retool a bit.

He would help, actually he would help every team, one more season until he becomes a free agent, says he wants to go to a team that has a chance of winning but teams like the Celts, Spurs, Lakers are all getting old, Sweat not sure where he would go then. Head Scratch

I don't see him going to the Lakers: they'ye already got two big men.

Bynum and his wayward elbows in a trade perhaps? Beaten

As a fan, I'd want Howard as a Laker, but there are still other question marks to be addressed. Who will be the next Laker coach? Would that somehow sway Howard's position on where he wants to play after next season? Who's going to be on the roster? As great as a Bryant-Howard combo would be, if the bench play can't improve the Lakers will still have a tough time.

More than one around here will be rooting for OKC just so they can say, "see I knew the Perks deal was bad." But I don't think Perks would have made a difference. Cs had way too many turnovers and their offense struggled. Perkins was no offensive machine. Beaten Davis was non existent in this series. KG had to take it to the rim from game 1. One thing that is overlooked is what James & Wade did on the defensive end.

I've heard reports from "insiders" that Howard wants to go to either the Lakers or Knicks.

It's not his elbows that concern people in Lakerland, it's his knees. Sweat

Yup.

Kobe and Gasol are playing way too many minutes because the bench sucks eggs.
