On June 2nd, actor Ichihara Hayato attended a press conference at the Toho Studio for his upcoming movie, �gDOG x POLICE Junpaku no Kizuna�g, with his buddy, Shiro (the dog). At the conference, Ichihara showed his love toward Shiro, saying bashfully, �gShiro is cute. I fell in love with her, and she is like my lover.�h

This movie is about a young police man, �gHayasaka Yusaku�h (Ichihara), who is aiming to be a detective with his strong sense of equity, however, he is transferred to a unit which consists of �ghandlers�h who trains the dogs and the guard dogs themselves. Though Hayakawa loses his passion toward the job, after the encounter with Shiro, he decides to train Shiro as a guard dog, and the film will show the bond between those two.
Though filming for the movie started in March, it was on hold due to the earthquakes hit Japan, however, it was continued because of the cast members and the staffs�f strong will. Thus the movie was completed in the middle of May.

At the conference, Toda Erika, who plays the role of �gMizuno Natsuki�h (coworker of Ichihara), also showed up. Unlike Ichihara and Shiro, Toda confessed that she had a hard time with her buddy, �gBrand�h, and that she was dragged by the dog as if it was like a scene in a manga.
Other than Ichihara and Toda, Tokito Saburo, Murakami Jun, Abe Shinnosuke, Cunning Takeyama, Komori Yoichi (original author), and Shichitaka Go (director) also attended the conference.
�gDOG�~POLICE�h is scheduled to be released on October 1st.

^^ Shame it's not a huge part in the upcoming movie. Oh well, Hankyu probably did better than expected though, hope it's out on DVD soon, Totty just looks so great in the shots from it. _________________

Well, of all those 3 roles of 2011 movies, the one from Adalucia looks most interesting for me. I think it's because I liked Adachi Kanae from Amalfi back then
