They had a thing about the Aomori team on FCI News today. The team, not the best player but the team, has a .415 batting average. Bow Geez, no wonder they won 16-1!!

Ack, didn't want to see Akita lose. The captain of their team, a kid named Yamada, has lost both his parents and lives with his grandparents.

Meanwhile, under the category of "find a way to lose" the Dodgers hit into a weird triple play last night: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5s7jpMmfvuY

Sox drop two out of three, in their series with the Rays. Tampa had some great pitching. Yesterday, in a doubleheader, both their pitchers had complete games and today Price went into the eighth.

If they had hitting Rays would right there in the thick of things. If the Yanks Twisted win tonight Sox fall into second again, they've been struggling against teams they should be beating, should have a 5 game lead now, bleh first place could be key come playoff time. Gonzalez has kept his average up but he's the key to why the offense has been silent lately, he's only had one HR since the All Star game, Sweat they don't need him to be a singles hitter, they need some power from him, he's dropped from 2nd to 7th in slugging % in the last month. Doh! I'm a Sox fan but have to admit he's no longer the #1 choice for MVP, Granderson is having one incredible season, leading the league in RBIs and runs scored, don't see that often.
