wow! I can feel your excitement in your entries about Takenouchi I fell in love with him after Nagareboshi too. He's always been one of my favorite actors, but not until Nagareboshi did he make me feel this way. Even after almost one year, I'm still this head over heels with Nagareboshi and that gorgeous man himself

I hope his upcoming drama written on wiki is true. I need more dose of Takenouchi after BOSS 2. Btw, BOSS 2 is so much more recommended than BOSS 1 IMO. Takenouchi had bigger roles there, it's hard not to fall in love with our flirty Nodatecchi

Funny enough I actually read the book during my uni days (I still have it...guess I never returned the book to the school library...I honestly am a history/ww2 buff.. Anyhow, did anyone managed to get a copy? In NYC I checked kinokunya and they said they might not carry it... And if they will get it it will be without English subtitles (which was surprising...)

Also just went on yutaka's Ken-on site... Dude it needs some serious updating! I might just try my luck and send him a fan postcard! To let him know he is still loved overseas!

His Gorgeousness is more prominently and immediately "displayed " in Boss2 , what with his opening line "I'm so good looking, it's almost scary" he lays claim to who's the boss...at least in the looks department
I guess his winning "Best Supporting Actor" for Boss gave him leverage, as if being TAKENOUCHI YUTAKA wasn't leverage enough.

Anyway, I'm just in episode 2 and it's 3 discs- so I'll be ok for a while.

That is the mark of a great actor - the acting is so brilliant that a fan is able to separate the idol from the character on the screen.

Movie stars like Tom Cruise play themselves in their movies. Actors like our idol are on a different level.

Thanks to you both I AM SOLD!!!!!! Boss is on my next drama to watch list, resuming episode 3 where I left off... which will be pretty soon since its bank holiday weekend so its marathon time! I'm glad you enjoy my craziness over the gorgeous you can take them anytime you want, no worries The worst thing that would happen to me is once I fall in love with a certain actor is I'll become really obsessed that I'll try my best to find the merchandise, which often makes me penniless but I really treasure them. Just like that blue and pink kurage (the jellyfish key chain), whenever I look at them, I feel at ease. It's like as if Kengo and Risa were with me lol! I'm so crazy

I've just finished Boss2. I really enjoyed it- I like crime-comedies- too short, though. I wish the Idol could have been in more scenes, but that's ok...at least, he could claim that he is really the boss It's good they've left the door open for a 3.

Next up is "Oba"...the dvd should be out soon.

Nagareboshi. Was great. Yutaka San was good. Really love his character he kinna made me wish I was his lil sis! The donor's psycho brother was annoying and creepy... I just bought the soundtrack. really liked the music. Personally I prefer taken in suits.. Still hot tho!

Is it just me but I thought yutaka was much skinnier...maybe he just finished filming oba? Heard he loss a ton of weight in Thailand.

Yup, he did look almost gaunt in Nagare and yeah, it could be that Nagare was shot right after Oba, where his role required him to lose a lot of weight. If that was the case, his 'skinny' look worked out perfectly, albeit unintentionally in his role of the anguished Kengo.
