Viewing Deka Wanko, not as crazy and off the wall as I thought it would be though it is a tad odd to say the least, but it's been really, really good, zipped thru the first 5 episodes in no time, every episode just gets a bit better, this is one of the better ones from 2011 I've seen, least of the dramas before the fall season. _________________

I'm watching Ohitorisama, and it actually pretty good.
Mizuki Alisa as a 33 y/o female teacher at a high school but the story is not
about the students, much like the so many "school doramas"
that are ,or were, so popular.
Its a funny and cute story and I'd recommended to anyone looking
for a light-hearted, feel-good series.
This could be rough sledding (pun intended) looks like it's going to be one of those over-coming-all-odds-backs-to-the-wall-no-tomorrow melodramas. It didn't help that the first episode was about 1 hour and 40 minutes long!! I'm halfway burnt out already!
Those big boys stole the show.....sorry, I mean the dogs.

Finished Byakuyakou. Very interesting plot. I enjoyed the first four episodes and the last three, but Ayase Haruka's character pissed me off in the middle episodes. Other than that, it's a pretty good drama. _________________
Kasaifu no Mita
There's a few plot holes in this one, and I dont feel the acting is as good as it could be (with the exception of Nanako), but I have enjoyed it nonetheless. Mostly curious how they will wrap up Mita's character.
Nankyoku Tairiku
Great production, cast and acting, but somehow its not quite as good as I feel it could have been. Tremendous focus on the dogs, somewhat predictable and a little melodramatic. Good though.
Love Generation
Finally took a step back to watch this one. One of the few of the top 20 on the Top 100 list here that I havent seen yet. Absolutely loving it.

Up thru episode 9 on this one, I agree, they could have cut down the first two episodes. Way too much over the top on all their obstacles (a lot of which probably came from the writers' imagination). But like Eyeyore said, the stars of this drama are the dogs.

Deka Wanko is in the books, turned out to be a solid police drama, more serious and less wacky than it appeared to be, ended up being a real enjoyable watch. Had wanted to watch Otoko no Kosodate next, don't think it's subbed anywhere though so gotta take a pass on it so think either ROMES or Celeb to Binbo Taro will be up next. _________________
