Finished Hunter the other night, have three more episodes of the third season of Furuhata Ninzaburo to watch, then I'll re-watch Kira Kira Hikaru (for the third time).

Wait, what happens in threes again? Confused

Finished Nankyoku Tairiku.

Being based on a true story, didn't have any expectations but it wasn't bad. Overly melodramatic at times, but even Kimutaku didn't bother me. Probably because the dogs upstaged him. Worth a watch. Big Grin

Zettai Reido, episode 7, been an okay watch but nothing all that special, thought it'd be a bit better seeing as how it came back for a second season. Nut

Finished Sengyou Shufu Tantei, it was a great watch for me.
Not sure why most people here seems to hate Fukada Kyoko. While she's certainly not one of the best actresses out there, I think she did great here.

Wishing to watch something similar next ^^ Something with light plot and interesting characters.

Episode 9 of Aibou 7:http://www.jdorama.com/drama.1334.htm

Looks like this is the last episode for Kameyama. I'm going to miss his working with Sugishita, his trading insults with Itami and most of all Sawa Suzuki as his wife. Puppy Dog Eyes

Yeah, I figured he'd be gone since I noticed that seasons 8-10 have Oikawa Mitsuhiro as Mizutani Yutaka's partner...

^ They'd been dropping hints since episode 1 that he was leaving, I was just curious how they were going to do it. I'm glad they didn't kill him off which would have been the easy way out.

A lot of times (i.e. when Linda Thorson replaced Diana Rigg in The Avengers) they'll wait until the final episode and have a big send off. We're only about halfway thru Aibou 7 so it looks like they're going to use the rest of the series to break us in on the new guy.

Yeah, even the commercials on 18.2 were making those hints about Kameyama's departure...

A nice change from the ordinary. Victory! Peace!

Last few episodes of Dinner on Thursday left. I stalled to re-watch Last Christmas. One epi of that drama left. I always forget just how amazing Last Christmas is until I watch it again. Smitten

Finished Kaseifu no Mita.

A 40 rating for the final episode! Trying to figure out how? I guess they like annoying families. Nice to see Nanako again but this drama was nothing special for me. Shake Head

Maybe it was snowing so heavily that everyone stayed home to watch TV? I making a wild guess here. Maybe they will give it a sequel and send Nanako to a new family. Or maybe some Hollywood guy will hijack this and cast Nicole Kidman as the housekeeper Naughty

Fukada Kyoko tries too hard to act cute and sound cute but she is not cute. My understanding of cute is Ashida Mana. Watching Fukuda Kyoko speak is like seeing my teacher run her nails across the school blackboard. Sengyou Shufu Tantei is a good watch and she was less irritating because her 'husband' and his lady boss were more irritating this time. hehe

Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu ep 8. The show has been a bit boring because the subject matter is unappealing to me. But good performances from Karina and Yoshitaka.

The subs have stalled at epi 6 on Shinya Shokudo 2 so I started Kaseifu no Mita.

Nanako's character is the freakiest one I've seen since Yuki Amami in Queen's Classroom. None of the other characters are very interesting although much to my surprise it looks like Saki Aibu is actually acting!!

I did learn one new trick in episode 2. The next time I answer the phone for somebody and they say, "Tell him I'm not here." I'll do exactly what Nanako did and say, "He says to tell you he's not here." Bleah

Trying to find a few unknown dramas to start the year off with, chose GM~Odore Doctor which I knew nothing about, up to episode 3 and have lucked out with this selection, really enjoying it. Mr Green
Also finished off Zettai Reido, that was a disappointment, had a solid cast but just soooo boring and predictable, why was there a second season? bleh

Finished Arakawa Under the Bridge. It is one odd show, there are some laughs to be had. Overall, I just couldn't get into it and found a lot of it boring, good thing the eps were only like 20 minutes long.

Thought along those same lines, such an original storyline and yet it was a bit boring like you said. Puppy Dog Eyes Each episode really wasn't even 20 minutes, 24 total minutes for each show but 2+ minutes of credits and 3-4 to recap what had happened so far bleh .... must be popular though, there's a movie coming out next month of it.

I tend to like quirky characters, but this show just didn't work for me.
