Probably because they weren't supposed to be prettier than the girls. Wink

Watching Yoiko No Mikata.

Cute kindergarten drama. Waiting to see if it develops more.

Toshi Densetsu no Onna ep 06. Cases aren't too deep, but entertaining enough. Masami's legs get more screen time than some of the secondary characters. Mr Green

I did finish Suitei Yuuzai . But I didn't really care.

I suspect cultural differences played a big part in how I viewed the series.

The third episode was really good although not sure about the mixed/inconclusive ending. Haru's father stole the show when he was on screen, don't remember seeing him before. I really like the two main actresses in this too.

I don't remember seeing him before too. XD I definitely enjoyed the third episode. The ending made me want to watch episode 4 asap. XD

Started with Ataru and Tsumi to Batsu. Ataru is okay for me but I didn't think its is as good as others were saying. Maybe it needs to grow on me more. Big Grin
I loved Tsumi to Batsu the story is very compelling in my opinion. Its just a shame that no one is subbing it. Shameful Cry

I finished watching Soredemo, Ikite Yuku yesterday. It's definitely high quality, one of the best in the last few years, but I have mixed feelings about it. For the first half, I was tempted to use words such as stunning/incredible to describe it, I got the feeling it's going to be great after the first 15 minutes. The theme song makes a lasting/haunting impression. Mitushima Hikari was great, as was Ohtake Shinobu, and most of the cast. But I didn't like the direction the series took in the second half, didn't understand how some of the main characters (and their thoughts) changed, and didn't like how the writer treated some of the characters, esp. Fumiya. I really wish it could have ended on a more hopeful note. Probably it has something to do with me watching the last 5 episodes in a row, but I finished watching feeling rather down and a bit confused. Could say a lot more with more time and spoilers, but can't be bothered now... Even with the above reservations, there were parts I want to rewatch again and possibly again, it was really good at times. 8/10

Edit: I have been thinking about this series on and off the last few days since I have last written, even when I was watching other dramas. What I have written isn't accurate, the ending is hopeful, just not for everyone. I couldn't get over/accept how Fumiya turned out, that's my main problem. The series itself is thoroughly engrossing and it has influenced me to re-evaluate how I should live my life in the future.

Up thru episode 9 now. I really liked Kagawa and Kanno as brother and sister,

Abe and Matsu haven't had roles as big as I thought they would (especially Matsu). Maybe that will pick up the last 4 episodes.

I started "Sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu" and realised I read the book some years ago. It seems fine, and I recognized the main actors who played in other doramas I saw Smile

I'm currently watching the drama, I didn't even know there were a movie. Did you watch one of those/both? What did you think about it?

Haha alright. Well so far I've liked it (but I've only watched two episodes anyway). Hopefully it'll remain interesting!

Well I actually like the drama! It elaborates more of what happened in the movie, but I do like the movie version as well. Smile

Thru episode 9 of Kaeru no Oujosama: http://jdorama.com/drama.1743.htm

The musical numbers are great but the plot has been on a downhill slide for quite awhile now.
