I thought it was okay, but it didn't wow me... The closing scene was a surprise, though.

I think the Bourne movies have jaded me: They've set a new standard in the spy genre.


Re: Trailers:

Jack Reacher (Tom Cruise) and Django Unchained (Quentin Tarantino, Director) looks like must-see films.

Iron Man 3 is a must-see as well, but I'm rather disappointed to see Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin... The couldn't find an Asian actor to play a Chinese? Or were they worried about having an Asian playing a stereotypical villain?

No interest: Les Miserables (Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway) and The Last Stand (Arnold Schwarzenegger).

Only a little perhaps. There are certain characters that are longstanding members of Bond film casts so if you haven't seen any Bond films previously you might not appreciate the significance of such characters as they relate to the film franchise.

This year happens to be the 50th anniversary of the Bond films so they included a couple of acknowledgements to previous films that might go over your head, so to speak.

Saw Jack Reacher today... Pretty good and intense movie... I'd give it a 8.5/10.

Well, I've seen one or two when it was Brosnan, but that was so long ago and I don't have much of a memory of/for them.

Mind you, I know I would enjoy them because they're my "type". Maybe I'll rent them or buy them and do a Bond marathon.

I saw a lot of movies this winter break. When the house was too full of mourners and there wasn't enough space, us cousins were shooed out of the house. So we spent these times at the movies.

I've seen The Hobbit (AWESOME, as was expected), DJango (brilliant), Les Mes (stunning), Ted (wasn't as great as I thought it would be)... and there was another one I saw... but I don't remember what it is.

I think my fav is DJango. It was nearly perfect.

I saw The Hobbit and Django. Fun movies! I also saw Zero Dark Thirty which is movie that is based upon the intelligence gathering effort to hunt down Osama Bin Laden. Pretty intense film, from the director of The Hurt Locker.

O! I was supposed to see that, but the plans fell through. Tomorrow is back to work, so movie watching will have to be put on hold.

Definitely more cerebral than action packed but there are so intense action scenes in the film. Worth seeing...many are calling it the best film of the year for what it's worth.

Back from the watching Iron Man 3... It was only okay... A 7/10.

Several unexplained plot points... And I'm still not totally sold on Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark.

Of the trailers I saw, Star Trek: Into Darkness was clearly a must see... Hunger Games, After Earth, Fast & Idiotically Stupid 6, and The Wolverine, were all meh.
