Race - Button first, Alonso second, Vettel champion
Red Bullfs Sebastian Vettel may have finished only sixth in a stunning Brazilian race on Sunday, as McLarenfs Jenson Button headed the Ferraris of title rival Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa home, but it was enough to make him the first triple world champion since Michael Schumacher.

Vettel's champion but Alonso and Kimi were better drivers this year given the cars they had. If not for that cockup in Japan, Fred would have been champion.

Kobayashi lands ride with Ferrari in WEC
-Daily Yomiuri
Kamui Kobayashi has signed to drive for Scuderia Ferrari in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), making him the first Asian to land a ride with the legendary Italian auto manufacturer, the team announced Monday in Modello, Italy.
"It's an honor for me to become part of the Ferrari family," Kobayashi said in a statement released on the Ferrari team website.
Kobayashi, 26, had raced the past three years in Formula One for Sauber, placing third in last year's Japan Grand Prix, but was not re-signed for the upcoming season. He made his F1 debut with Toyota in 2009 and competed in 60 races.
Kobayashi will make his GT race debut April 14 at the WEC's season-opener, a six-hour race at Silverstone, England.

Sebastian Vettel led team mate Mark Webber home to what should have been a celebratory Red Bull 1-2 in Sepang on Sunday, but the success was sullied by a post-race argument between the two drivers. All through the race the radio messages between Vettel and Red Bullfs team management told as much of the story as the on-track action.
Webber led much of the race after a timely switch to dry tyres following the use of intermediates on a wet surface in the opening laps. Vettel complained for much of the time he was following Webber, and continually asked his team to tell him to move over.
As far as the Australian was concerned, he had the race in the bag and Vettel was bound by team orders to follow him home as they conserved tyres and fuel. But Vettel launched a huge attack to take the lead on the 46th lap, and pulled away after a brutal bout of side-by-side running which enthralled the crowd.
Eventually, Vettel was able to pull away to a triumph which equalled Sir Jackie Stewartfs 27 wins. Later Vettel claimed to have realised only when they removed their helmets in parc ferme that he had made a mistake in overtaking Webber, but he had been warned on that 46th lap by team boss Christian Horner that he had a lot of explaining to do after the race. Vettel apologised to Webber and admitted that he had got it wrong, but the Australian was unimpressed.
Further back, Lewis Hamilton said he didnft feel that he deserved his first podium finish for Mercedes, as team mate Nico Rosberg was repeatedly instructed by team boss Ross Brawn not to pass him as they both had to turn their engines to maximum fuel-saving mode. Rosberg honoured that instruction, but Hamilton said that he felt his team mate had driven a more intelligent race, as he himself had given in to his natural competitive instincts to take the fight to the Red Bulls and as a result had taken more out of his car.
It was a disastrous day for Ferrari, as Fernando Alonso ran into the back of Vettel in the second corner after the start, and then crashed going into Turn 1 on the second lap after gambling that a damaged front wing would hold out until his first pit stop.

Infighting at Red Bull, McLaren is in disarray, Lewis getting there but still aways to go at Mercedes. Looks like it could be Fred's year at Ferrari. His biggest threat might come from Kimi in the Lotus.
Note - Webber, Gutierrez qualified P5 and P18, dropped 3 and 5 grid places respectively for collisions at previous round. Hamilton qualified P4, dropped 5 places for unscheduled gearbox change
Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel utterly dominated the 2013 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Sakhir on Sunday, but it was the thrilling action behind him for which the race will be remembered.
Vettel took the lead shortly after the start of the race, whilst behind him the Lotus pair of Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean came through numerous battles to grab the final two podium spots...»
