Got some good actors here, Kyoka Suzuki, Yuriko Ishida, Katsunori Takahashi. Mari Natsuki plays the neighbor from hell.
I started watching that, but got distracted by Itsuka Hi no Ataru Basho De. Maybe I'll get back to Yakou Kanransha before I get distracted by something else. Again.

^ Glad you liked it!! It is just mindless fun and unlike the creators of 'Gokusen' these folks knew once around the block was enough, a sequel would have been pointless.
OT: Episode 8 of 'Ituska Hi, , ,'. The drama itself is better than expected but this episode was kind of uneven.

If you didn't know Iijima's father was going to die when he went into the hospital it's only because it's the first drama you've ever seen. And you could see her getting fired from her job a mile away.
But the two scenes Ryu Raita had, first with Asano and then with Aya were both very good.
Almost everybody agrees that it's very good although some think the ending could have been better.
So I watched it thanks to your advice (and antspace's recommandation ) and it was good indeed. Good performance from Eita but also from Mitsushima Hikari who could carry emotions with a very subtle acting. I wonder why she's not more popular? Oh yeah it might be because she's not very Kawaiiii ♥♥♥♥ and sometimes it seems that's what matters the most...
Anyway it was good despite it'll always amaze me how people react in dramas when there's a criminal in a family, bullying the other members, harrassing them, have them dismissed, making their lives a total nightmare. Creepy and not understandable.

OT: will start Made in Japan because it seems very zeitgeist in times where Sony, Sharp, Panasonic, Olympus and the likes are bumbling. Like the long-forgotten European electronic giants from my childhood, Japan's corporations have overslept and can not change their old ways. Let's see if this mini-drama shows reality or if the salarymen with a lot of ganbarou save the day.

I really doubt. TV stations don't bite the hand that feed them. These are major and regular sponsors for their dramas.
They might be crying foul at the Koreans, Chinese, Indians for unfair trade. Looking at Jadefrost's synopsis, I'll say a 'yes' - the salaryman with a lot of ganbarou saved the day.

As an xxxholic fan (manga and anime) I had to check out the live action. Mmmh I think it's a bit of a fail, it was done with a low budget and doesn't manage to recreate the fantasy bits. I do believe there is some serious miscasting going on too, but I will give episode 2 a chance.

We will watch Freeter, ie wo kau at my school, good that I only ever watched the first episode and then lost the remainder of the episodes. Looking forward but we will dissect each episode in detail in class.
Last night, while writing a report I watched the two new Fuji TV Tuesday dramas, none of them very good. The first one, Kamo, Kyoto e Iku, also stars Matsushita and I disliked it almost instantly, mainly because I can predict Matsuhita's evolution to the episode. It's a about a modern woman who has to save her indebted family hotel, of course her changes are too radical and I am sure she will discover soon that the traditional way is best and will change for the better old-fashioned ways.
The second one is called Kasuka na Kanojo about an unmotivated teacher who can see ghosts and ends up living with one ghost who used to be a dedicated teacher. Not sure yet, but I guess it will concentrate one child's problems per episode and at the end of the journey the unmotivated teacher will have found his vocation. Light and fluffy with deja vues Another problem the cast: Smap dude and AKB girl.
Only 6 episodes and its got a decent cast. I've only watched the first episode so no real opinion yet.
I didn't pick that one at the end, but went for Kare, Otto, Otoko Tomodachi with Maki Yoko instead. I think I made a good choice, right?
Last Cinderella episode one, super light and silly, and Shinohara IS the female Kimutaku, getting always paired up with an upcoming hot actor. The older they get, the age gap widens, but hey it's only fair and equal, if Kimutaku gets to hang out with Karina, Ryoko can surely have a fling with 23year old Miura Hamura
Fun fact: Shinohara's character seems to be living in my neighbourhood, the shrine she prays at in very first scences is literally 2 mins from my place.
