Episode 6 of 'Danda Rin'. Yuko has gotten less robotic, but the drama hasn't gotten any better.

Episode 6 of 'Tokyo Bandwagon'. Almost as exciting as a bowl of natto without the soy sauce and mustard.

Episode 8 of 'Dokushin Kizoku'. It's holding up, mostly because of the actors.

Just finished Doctor X episode 3. Can't believe a hospital like that exists, even in dramaland. And that office manager is a moron.

I like short hair. Especially on Maki-chan. Smitten

Episode 7 of 'Ando Lloyd'. Is a drama too violent if you start having Columbine flashbacks while watching it?

You went to Columbine? Confused

I got to watch episode 7 of Ando Lloyd while staying in Kyoto, but missed 6 and 8 as my friends in Tokyo don't have a television. Just watched them today. I will say that it's... unpredictable.

No, but I think we've all seen the videos. Anyway, up to episode 7 on 'Danda Rin' and 'Tokyo Bandwagon'. Just killing time and they both provided a paycheck for Yuko and Mimura.

Funny how tastes can differ. I really love Danda Rin. Thought ep 6 was a little less good, but really loved ep 7 again! The stories are a bit simple, but Takeuchi Yuka has this wonderful expressions and her motorial movement is so funny! Mr Green The whole Labor Standards office is pretty funny in my eyes Big Grin

Started Carnation a week ago and up to ep 58 now. I'm becoming an asadoraholic Smile
The opening by Sheena Ringo is so wonderful I can't skip it. So saw that 58 times now Crazy and counting Beaten

It would be a really dull world if we all liked the same things. Thumbsup

Episode 9 of "Ando Lloyd". There was enough blood in this that it could have been directed by Takeshi Kitano.

hehehe.

been reading every article i coudl find on amachan the other day...
There was something mentioned about the tourist building in amachan being demolished.
granted, they didnt actually do the filming inside that building (just the exterior facade), but for those who plans to visit the location, thats one less photo they can take.

I was thinking Tarantino, but I see what you mean.

rofl rofl

The whole series was beyond far fetched. It was a medical comedy I thought and a fun vehicle for Ryoko.

Finished 'Dokushin Kizoku'. 'Sabrina' with a Japanese twist but a good job the four main actors. Hideaki Ito is probably glad to get the bad taste of 'Doubles' out of his system.

Sounds like the same plot from Kekkon Shinai.

Finished 'Haitatsu Saretai Watashitachi':http://www.jdorama.com/drama_1901.htm

Another good short drama from WOWOW. Only five episodes but still well done with real actors. Applaud

I'm glad they had the epilogue though, that last scene in the theater left me a little confused. And I'm not sure if Hasegawa could have really gotten pregnant the way she did. Speaking of Hasegawa at first when I saw how they cut her hair short I thought, "Geez, she looks like an obaasan!" But then I checked and realized she's already 35. Another sign we're all getting older. But like Hitomi Kuroki, Hasegawa is still going to look better at 50 then most women do at 25. HOT!

It gets my vote for the worst hospital ever. And that scene of the two old men fighting? Hilarious and ridiculous. I rather liked Kishibe Ittoku as Kanbara Akira, though. He and his melon always provided laughs.

I hope season 2 is slightly better.

It's very similar: Corrupt, conniving, underhanded management and Ryoko sticking it to them every chance she gets... I love it. Victory! Peace!
