Tomomi Kahara to hold her first tour in 9 years

Kahara Tomomi will hold a nationwide tour titled 'TOMOMI KAHARA CONCERT TOUR 2014~MEMORIES~' this fall.

The tour will kick off on September 3 at Tamashin RISURU Hall in Tokyo for a total of 15 shows in 14 locations. This will be Kahara's first tour since '10th Anniversary Celebration Kahara Tomomi Concert 2005' which was held to commemorate her 10th anniversary about 9 years ago.

YUKI to release new album and have nationwide tour

YUKI will release a new album in September. In addition, she will start a nationwide tour in October.

The last original album that YUKI released was "megaphonic" back in 2011.

As for nationwide tours, YUKI's last was "YUKI TOUR 'BEATS OF TEN'" in 2012. Her upcoming tour will kick off on October 12 in Saitama and will wrap up on January 22, 2015 in Tokyo for a total of 26 shows.

Bawdies' new single due out in June

THE BAWDIES will release a double A-side single on June 25. Besides the two title tracks, it will also include a new song called "IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY". Details on 9mm Parabellum Bullets' 'Best Of' album and tour

The details on 9mm Parabellum Bullet's best-of album "Greatest Hits", which will be released on July 9, has been announced.

"Greatest Hits" will include all singles from their major debut "The World e.p." to their latest "Answer And Answer". It will be released in both limited and regular editions. The limited edition will come with a CD including live audio called "Selected Bullet Marks".

In addition, 9mm Parabellum Bullet will kick off their nationwide tour 'Next Bullet Marks Tour 2014' in September. It will begin on September 27 at Sapporo PENNY LANE24 for a total of 28 shows in 22 locations. Tickets will go on sale on August 9.

Kaela Kimura to release new single

To commemorate her 10th anniversary, Kimura Kaela has announced that she will carry out a project titled 'Kimura Kaela 10years anniversary' from June 23, 2014 to June 2015. She will release her new single "OLE!OH!" on June 9, and will hold a 2-day live at Yokohama Arena on October 25 and 26.

"OLE!OH!" will be released as the 'VOL.1' of her commemorative project. It will be her first single release since a year and 8 months, and also her first original single from her private label 'ELA'. Produced by POP ETC, it will feature 3 songs with the theme "dream".

The title track "OLE!OH!" is described as a support song that will bring out the cheerleader within you. As its coupling tracks, the single will include "MAKE THIS DREAM REAL" and "Usagi to Otsukisama".

The limited edition will come with a bandanna called "OLE!OH! KAELA Botanical Art Motif". When purchased together with her best-of album "10years" (June 25 release), you can receive a summer greeting from the singer. In association with her 10th anniversary, 10 lucky winners will receive a summer greeting with a handwritten message and autograph.

'VOL.2' of the project will be her 10th anniversary one-man lives 'GO!GO! KAELAND 2014�`10years anniversary'. The concerts will have the subtitles 'Rockin' ZOO' and 'Poppin' PARK' respectively. The concept is "a rock zoo and a pop amusement park that was produced by KAELAND".

Perfume to release their 20th single in July

Perfume will release their 20th single "Cling Cling" on July 16.

The title track "Cling Cling" has been picked up as the CM song for Eisai's 'Chocola BB' for 2014. The CM, starring the members of Perfume, will begin airing in mid-July. As the coupling track, the single will include "Hold Your Hand" which is currently the theme song for NHK Sougou's drama 'Silent Poor', 2 brand new songs "DISPLAY" and "Ijiwaru na Hello", and the instrumental version of the 4 songs.

The limited edition DVD will contain the PV and teaser for "Cling Cling", the short PV for "DISPLAY", and a digest of their tour 'Perfume FES!! 2014' which was held from March to April. The digest will include footage of the various artists who participated in the tour.

Besides the limited edition, the single will come in a complete production edition called 'Okkii Hako no Naka Shiyou'. This will come with a 3D photo jacket, a box, and a photo booklet. It will also come with a DVD including special footage 'Nishiwaki-ke Memorial: Spice' and 'SHINING��STAR'.

May'n to release her 2nd single of 2014

May'n's new single "Re:REMEMBER" will be released on June 18.

The singer's 2nd single of 2014 is currently the opening theme for the TV anime 'M3 ~Sono Kuroki Hagane~'. It's described as a heartrending love ballad with a waltz arrangement. As the coupling tracks, the single will include "Dare ga Tame ni" and a Japanese cover of Taiwanese singer Jay Chou's "Katatsumuri".

In addition, May'n will hold events to commemorate the single's release. They will be held on June 18 in Osaka and June 19 in Tokyo.

Track list for Kaela Kimura's 'Best Of' album

Kimura Kaela has announced the track list for her best-of album "10years" which will be released on June 25.

The track list for this album was decided by the fans' votes. Kimura gave an interim report on April 29 via Nico Nico Namahousou, drawing attention to the content. As a result of the votes, "happiness!!!" came in 1st place followed by "Magic Music" and "Rirura Riruha". It will include the top 17 songs, along with an unreleased track called "My Love" and a new song called "LOVELY".

In addition to the track list, Kimura has revealed her new artist photo and jacket covers for the album. It features Sakaguchi Kaycie, who also made an appearance in Kimura's best-of album "5years" which was released back in 2010.

Oda Kazumasa's new album due out July 2nd

Oda Kazumasa's new release is set for July 2.

The album, "Oda Biyori", is Oda's first original album in 3 years and 2 months, and it will contain numerous tracks that were made as theme songs for dramas/movie/CM, as well as the Japanese version of "Finally Home" which he provided for Nathan East, titled "mata-ne".

Oda has not used a self-photo for the cover arts for his albums after "MY HOME TOWN" released in 1993, but reportedly, "Oda Biyori" will use his newly taken photo as its jacket cover to respond his staff members' wishes.

In addition, Oda will kick off his long tour (18 venues, 36 performances in total) "Meiji Yasuda Seimei Presents KAZUMASA ODA TOUR 2014 'Honjitsu Oda Biyori'" on June 28, prior to the album release.

EXILE to release first single with new lineup

EXILE will release their new single "NEW HORIZON" on July 23.

During 'EXILE PERFORMER BATTLE AUDITION FINAL' on April 27, 5 new members Shirahama Alan, Sekiguchi Mendy, Iwata Takanori, Sato Taiki, and Yamamoto Sekai were selected to join the group. This will be EXILE's first single as a new 19-member group, and it's described as an aggressive dance tune written by ATSUSHI.

"NEW HORIZON" has been picked up as the theme song for Fuji TV's summer event 'Odaiba Shintairiku 2014 ~Chizu ni Nai Kimi Dake no Takarajima~'. At the event venue, there will be an area called 'Izakaya EXILE PARK' which will serve original food, drinks, and sweets thought of by the members of EXILE.

Momoiro Clover Z to release new single in July

Momoiro Clover Z will be releasing a new single entitled "MOON PRIDE" on July 30.

"MOON PRIDE" contains both opening and ending theme songs for upcoming "Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Crystal" anime.

The single will have 2 different editions; Sailor Moon Edition (CD+Blu-ray) and Momoclo Edition (CD only).

Both editions will include the opening theme "MOON PRIDE", provided by Revo (Sound Horizon), and the ending theme song "Gekkou", composed and arranged by Kosaka Akiko who has composed many 'Sailor Moon' songs like "Moon Revenge", "La Soldier", and "Tuxedo Mirage."

The PV for the title track "MOON PRIDE" which will be included in the Blu-ray of the "Sailor Moon Edition", will be a full animation PV of "Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Crystal", created by Toei Animation, and the "Momoclo Edition" will have a cover of "Moon Revenge" as an additional track.

Rina Katahira's first album to be released in August

Katahira Rina will release her first album "amazing sky" on August 6.

This announcement was made during Nico Nico Douga special live broadcast program "Katahira Rina 10-Jikan Special ~Daihappyou Ari~" on June 5.

Since Katahira made her major debut with single "Natsu no Yoru" on August 7th of last year, her 1st album will be released on the eve of her 1st anniversary.

The album will contain a total of 13 tracks including her previous singles, as well as a digital single "Hajimari ni", produced by ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION's Yamada Takahiro.

The limited edition will come with a DVD containing the footage from her one-man live at WWW, making-of video clips, and more, which will be approximately 60 minutes long.

In addition, Katahira is planning to hold free lives to commemorate the release of the album in 6 locations all over Japan.

Ai Kago forms 3 girl group to debut in July

Kago Ai has formed a new 3-member girls unit called Girls Beat!!, and they will be releasing their first single "Sekai Seifuku" on July 22.

Girls Beat!! is a girls unit project in which the members, songs, lyrics, costumes, choreography, and performance will be decided by the fans. Currently, there are 3 members, who are Kago Ai, Kita Remi, and Himeno Ryona. They will hold their debut live on July 26 at Asakusa Rokku Yumemachi Gekijou. Following the unit's concept "one member, one talent", the girls will each show off their special skill during the live.

PERFUME announce their 3rd world tour

Perfume will hold their overseas tour "Perfume WORLD TOUR 3rd" this October to November.

This marks their 3rd overseas tour after their Asia tour in 2012 and the Europe tour in 2013. The girls will make stops in Taiwan, Singapore, Los Angeles (U.S), London (UK), New York (U.S), and this will be the very first time for Perfume to hold a one-man live in the U.S.

In addition, it was also announced that there will be a live concert in Korea on October 12, which Perfume and Maximum the Hormone will hold together. Originally, this live was planned to be held as the tour final of "Perfume FES!! 2014" at UNIQLO-AX on April 20, however, it was canceled due to the ferry tragedy in the country.

Prior to the world tour, Perfume will also hold their nation-wide arena tour "Perfume 5th Tour 2014 'Gurun Gurun'" (7 locations, 14 shows in total) during August to September.

Southern All Stars, who are celebrating their 36th anniversary today on June 25, announced their activities for 2014.

First up, their 55th single, which is the first single in a year since the previous one "Peace to Highlight", is set for release in September.

Second in line will be their first New Year's Eve live concert in 9 years, and it will be held at Yokohama Arena in Kanagawa.

DOES will release their new album "DOES" on August 6.

The band's 6th album will be their first since "KATHARSIVILIZATION" about 2 years and 3 months ago. EXILE's ATSUSHI to perform in Christmas Carol concert in New York City

EXILE ATSUSHI will be performing in the charity event 'The 9th Christmas Carol Concert' at Carnegie Hall in New York on December 4 (local time).

'Christmas Carol Concert' has been held every year since 2006 by composer Tim Janis. The proceeds of the concert are donated to multiple charities. While various artists are invited to perform at this event every year, ATSUSHI will be the first Japanese artist to do so. He will be performing his numbers as well as Tim's songs with a choir of 200 people and a full orchestra.
