Def Tech establish new label and announce 20 show tour

Def Tech, who will be celebrating their 10 year anniversary in 2015, have established an indies label called '2VOX'.

The name '2VOX' comes from "two vocalists" to show Shen and Micro's determination of uniting and transmitting music. In addition, Def Tech will start their nationwide tour '2VOX tour 2014-2015' in November. They're scheduled to kick off the tour on November 10 at CRAZYMAMA KINGDOM (Okayama), and wrap it up on February 19 at Zepp DiverCity TOKYO (Tokyo) for a total of 20 shows.

Also, Def Tech will release a mix album, titled "BEST MIX", on November 19. It will include 19 tracks such as "High on Life" and "My Way�iacoustic version)".

Angela Aki to release last Nippon Budokan live on Blu-ray and DVD

Angela Aki's live Blu-ray / DVD 'Angela Aki Concert Tour 2014 TAPESTRY OF SONGS - THE BEST OF ANGELA AKI in Budokan 0804' will be released on December 17th.

The Blu-ray / DVD will feature Angela's Nippon Budokan live that was held back in August. As a special footage, it will also include a history movie called "ANGELA AKI 2005-2014" tracing the singer's 10-year career.

To commemorate the release of the Blu-ray / DVD, there will be an advanced screening event on December 7 in 7 theaters across Japan. Ticket lottery entires will be accepted until November 11.

Kaname Kawabata to hold nationwide tour early next year

Kawabata Kaname has announced that he will hold a nationwide tour called 'KANAME KAWABATA LIVE TOUR 2015 -ON THE WAY HOME-' early next year.

The upcoming tour will be held to coincide Kawabata's cover album "ON THE WAY HOME" which will be released on December 10. It will kick off on January 12 at cube garden (Hokkaido), and will wrap up on February 11 at The Globe Tokyo (Tokyo) for a total of 7 shows in 6 locations.

Ticket pre-reservations will start on November 13 via Kawabata's official fan club. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on December 13.

Exile's ATSUSHI to release new album and DVD/Blu-ray

EXILE ATSUSHI will release a new album titled "Love Ballade" on December 3.

Back in March, ATSUSHI released "Music", an album in which he challenged himself to a variety of genres. The upcoming album will be comprised entirely of ballads such as "Angel Heart", "Sakura no Kisetsu", "Real Valentine -Winter JAZZ Ver. -", and a Christmas song called "First Christmas" featuring P-CHO (DOBERMAN INFINITY). It will be a conceptual album that depicts different types of love.

The album will be released in types that come with a Blu-ray or DVD containing a collection of PVs.

DAIGO to release solo live tour on DVD

DAIGO will release a live DVD, titled "DAIGO LIVE TOUR 2014 'DAIGOLD' FINAL at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL 0429", on December 31.

The DVD will feature the finale of DAIGO's solo live tour "DAIGO LIVE TOUR 2014 'DAIGOLD'", which was held on April 29 at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL. It will be a 2-disc set including a total of 22 songs with tracks off of his first solo album "DAIGOLD" (released in March), as well as numbers he's released under the name DAIGO��STARDUST. As a bonus, the DVD will also contain off-shot footage.

SPYAIR to release "Best" album in Europe and UK next year

Japanese pop-rock band SPYAIR will release 'BEST' on CD and digital formats in the UK and Europe on January 12, 2015, collating all 14 of their massive hit singles so far plus two brand new songs! It's also the first time many of the songs have been available outside of Japan.

Since coming on to the scene in 2010 with their debut single 'LIAR', which also became the theme song to Japanese TV school drama 'Hammer Session', SPYAIR have had 10 top-40 singles in Japan and had many of their tracks become themes in anime and film; including The Amazing Spider-Man, Bleach, and Gintama. All are included on 'BEST'.

Due to popular demand, SPYAIR were picked up by London's JPU Records for European distribution, leading to the group's YouTube channel being available outside of Japan for the first time.

The official music videos to the songs included on 'BEST' have already racked up viewing figures upwards of 28 million.

May J to release 'Best Of' album on New Year's Day

May J. will release a 2-disc best-of album, titled "May J. W BEST -Original & Covers-", on January 1, 2015.

The album will include selected original songs and covers that May J. have released thus far. In the original best, there will be a total of 16 songs such as "Let It Go ~Ari no Mama de~ (End Song)", which was the theme song for the Japanese version of 'Frozen' (Japanese title: 'Anna to Yuki no Joou'), and her first single under Sony Entertainment, "HERE WE GO feat. VERBAL (m-flo)", as well as brand new songs titled "So Beautiful" and "My Sweet Dreams".

As for the cover best, it will contain a total of 15 songs such as "Garden", "Hanamizuki", "Nada Sou Sou", "First Love", and a duet song with Chris Hart of "A Whole New World".

The album will be released in 5 different types: 2CD Limited Flash Price Edition, 2CD Regular Edition, 2CD+1DVD Edition, 2CD+3DVD Edition, and 2CD+2Blu-ray Edition. Those who purchase the 2CD+3DVD Edition or 2CD+2Blu-ray Edition will be able to enjoy over 30 PVs, footages of May J.'s best performances, and a documentary that adds up to about 380 minutes.

Leo Ieiri announces 4th nationwide tour

Ieiri Leo will hold her fourth nationwide tour starting in May of next year.

The upcoming tour will kick off at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall as Ieiri's first solo outdoors live. She will also be making stops in Kagoshima, Ishikawa, Tochigi, Ibaraki, and Hyogo for the first time. Her new single "Silly" (November 19 release) will enclose a serial number for ticket pre-reservations.

Just when you thought you'd heard everything:

Momoiro Clover Z to release collaboration single with KISS

(yes, THAT KISS Shake Head )

Momoiro Clover Z and KISS will release a collaboration single on January 28, 2015. The single will be released under the name "Momoiro Clover Z vs KISS."

Reportedly, this collaboration happened as KISS was interested in Momoclo, and it will be the very first time for KISS to collaborate with Japanese artist. The title track, sang by Momoclo, and composed and played by KISS, will also be released digitally in 120 countries on the iTunes Store.

The single will have 2 different versions which are "Momoclo Edition" and "KISS Edition." The "Momoclo Edition" will include the title track sang by Momoclo, and one more track, as well as the off-vocal version of each track. It will also come with a Blu-ray Disc that contains the video clip for the title track while the "KISS Edition" will have total 6 tracks; 3 tracks (including the title track) and its off-vocal versions.

Further, Momoclo will join KISS' Tokyo Dome live concert which will be held on March 3rd of 2015.

In addition, Momoiro Clover Z will release 3 singles consecutively starting with this collaboration single during the first half of 2015.

Hilcrhyme announces 2nd tour for 2015

Hilcrhyme will hold a nationwide tour starting in March of 2015.

Previously, Hilcrhyme announced that they will hold their live tour 'Itta Koto Nai.' from January 12 to March 15 of next year. The tour that they've announced at this time will kick off on March 29 at Aichi-ken Geijutsu Gekijou, and will wrap up on May 17 at NHK Hall for a total of 16 shows.

In addition, Hilcrhyme will release a new single in February. This will come about 6 months after releasing their last single "FLOWER BLOOM" in August.

Weaver 2015 tour schedule

WEAVER have announced the schedule for their 2015 live house tour.

The tour, hosting a total of 23 shows n 22 locations, will kick off on April 4 at CASINO DRIVE in Hokkaido. The finale will be held in late-May at Kobe VARIT. in Hyogo, which is also known as WEAVER's starting point.

As a prelude to the tour, WEAVER will hold an event for members of their official fan club 'WOW' on March 31 at LIQUIDROOM in Tokyo.

Mr. Children to hold arena tour in 2015

Mr.Children will hold an arena tour, tentatively titled 'Mr.Children Arena Tour 2015', starting in March of next year.

It will be about a year and 9 months since Mr.Children held their last nationwide arena tour 'Mr.Children[(an imitation) blood orange]Tour' which ran from the end of 2012 to June 2013. For the upcoming tour, the band will start at Yamada Green Dome Maebashi in Gunma and they are scheduled to hold a total of 20 shows in 10 locations.

Details for new Kaela Kimura album "Mieta"

Kimura Kaela has revealed the track list for her new album "MIETA" which will be released on December 17.

Kimura's 10th anniversary album will be her first original album since "Sync" which was released in December 2012. It will feature a variety of genres, from rock to pop to electronic, with songs provided by AxSxE (NATSUMEN), Watanabe Shinobu (ASPARAGUS), Pop Etc, Ushio Kensuke (agraph), Nomson, Aida Shigekazu, Morioka Yoshinori (Gekitetsu), Miura Koshi, and Mito (Clammbon).

The album will be released in both limited and regular editions. The Limited Edition DVD will contain the PVs and making footages for her singles "OLE!OH!" and "TODAY IS A NEW DAY". It will also include backstage footage from 'KAELA presents GO!GO! KAELAND 2014�`10years anniversary' held on October 25 and 26 at Yokohama Arena.

In addition, Kimura will hold a anniversary tour called 'MITAI KIKITAI UTAITAI' beginning in March. She is scheduled to perform at live houses in 17 locations across a 3-month period.

Maaya Sakamoto to release her 25th single in January

On January 28, Sakamoto Maaya will release her new single "Shiawase ni Tsuite Watashi ga Shitteiru 5-tsu no Houhou / Shikisai".


Both title tracks for Sakamoto's 25th single have received tie-ups. "Shiawase ni Tsuite Watashi ga Shitteiru 5-tsu no Houhou" will be used as the opening theme for the TV anime 'Koufuku Graffiti' which will begin airing on TBS and BS-TBS in January of 2015. Meanwhile, "Shikisai" was picked up as the theme song for the RPG game 'Fate / Grand Order'.

"Shiawase ni Tsuite Watashi ga Shitteiru 5-tsu no Houhou" was written by Iwasato Yuho, and composed and arranged by Rasmus Faber. As for "Shikisai", la la larks participated as the composer and arranger.

The single will also include "Kimi no Suki na Hito" written by Sakamoto herself. In addition, the Limited Edition DVD will contain footage of 3 songs from her special live aired on UStream.

It's said that there will be a big announcement on December 1 at noon through her official website 'I.D.'.

Mariya Nishiuchi to release new single in January

Nishiuchi Mariya has announced that she will release her new single "7 WONDERS" on January 28, 2014.

The title track of Nishiuchi's second single is a medium-tempo tune with a strong digital beat. As the coupling track, the single will include a heavy rock tune called "Don't let me down".


The single will be released in 3 different versions: CD+DVD Limited Edition, CD+DVD Regular Edition, and CD-Only Regular Edition. The DVDs will include the PV for "7 WONDERS" and its off-shot movie. Additionally, the Limited Edition will come with a photo book, and all types will enclose a guitar pick with an original design.

Nishiuchi is scheduled to hold fan events on December 23 at umeda AKASO (Osaka) and on December 24 at duo MUSIC EXCHANGE (Tokyo). Tickets to the event in Tokyo are available for pre-reservation now.

SPYAIR to hold nationwide tour in 2015

SPYAIR have announced that they will hold a nationwide tour in April and May of next year.

The band will release their best-of album "BEST" on November 26. Their upcoming tour will kick off on April 14 at Zepp Nagoya, and will wrap up on May 20 at Zepp Tokyo for a total of 8 shows. Ticket pre-reservations can be made through a leaflet that will be included in "BEST", as well as their official mobile site "AIR-GATE".

Capsule to release new album 'Wave Runner'

CAPSULE will release their new album, titled "WAVE RUNNER", on February 18, 2015.

This album comes about a year and 4 months since "CAPS LOCK" was released in October of 2013. It will include a total of 10 songs such as the vocal dub mix of "Depth", which was created as the main theme for movie 'Appleseed Alpha', and "Feel Again", which was picked up as the theme song for Canal City Hakata's Christmas illumination show.

The limited edition will come with a second CD containing the extended mix for "Another World", "Hero", "Feel Again", and "White As Snow".

EXILE to release new album in March

EXILE has announced the release of their new album '19 -Road to AMAZING WORLD-' on March 25, 2015.

This was announced on November 29th during EXILE TRIBE's concert at the Tokyo Dome. It will be EXILE's first album since becoming a 19-member group.

Track list for new Sekai no Owari album "Tree"

SEKAI NO OWARI have revealed the track list of their new album that's slated for release on January 14.

The album's title has been confirmed as "Tree". It will contain a total of 13 songs including their singles "Snow Magic Fantasy", "Honoo to Mori no Carnival", "Dragon Night", and "PLAY", which was the Monday theme song for Fuji TV's 'Mezamashi TV' from April to September, and "Mermaid Rhapsody", which was written as the theme song for the movie 'Kuragehime'. The limited edition DVD will come with footage from the band's live held on April 29 at Saitama Super Arena.
