I recently discovered this forum and a lot of the people in this forum seem very expert about finding old TV Series, and I'm desperately looking for one.
After listening to Haru Yo Koi by Yumi Matsutoya I feel in love with it and I found out that it was the main theme for a TV Series called Haruyo, Koi ( Comes spring ). After reading the plot of this TV Series ( A woman looks back into her past when her husband gets cancer ) I fell harshly in love with it. Although I know some spoilers I'm interested in watching this Asadora ( I believe that's how they call them, I'm not an expert sorry )!

Does anyone know how can I find this 1994 TV Drama called Haruyo, Koi ? I'm desperately looking for it!

Thanks!

1994 Asadora. Extremely difficult, without even trying, I think it's a lost cause. If you understand Japanese, I guess you can try buying DVD on Amazon, if they released it.

Sigh, * cries *. Sucks how there is the streaming of Oshin ( 1983 ) but not one of Haruyo, Koi ( 1994 ). Can't I buy it subbed somewhere ? I don't understand Japanese T_T

Hi LostHaruka - Sorry about the bad news, but finding an Asadora this old and with subs will be a daunting task. Oshin is the exception because it was extremely popular and still is. There is a JDorama member called Groink who has an extensive collection of Asadoras, so you can try to get in touch with him. You can also go through Japanese auction websites. If you have difficulty reading Japanese, you can use http://www.celga.com. They will search for any Japanese item you're looking for. I used them once to find a rare, sold-out DVD of my favorite girl band. It took 2 months but they managed to find it.
