its not a bad show actually, i dont care what others thought of this show, its not boring to me, as much as im a sushi lover, but i also love cakes! i used to work @ a bakery/cake store so i can relate. the first episodes contains more secrets and mysterious plots, but it gets very interesting later on and has some funny dialogues that i enjoy! the only thing that dissapoints me that the english subs arent very good and inaccurate, the grammars are wrong but at least i can still tell whats going on.
i know ive read so many bad reviews about this but for people who havent seen it but cared what others thinks, dont be stupid and rely on others' opinions, we all have different taste, who knows u'll end up liking this show or what not.. see for urself and watch it! |

be prepared for tissues cuz this drama will make you cry!! This drama speaks to the deep recesses of our hearts... life, death, but most of all love... the patient who loves the jogging boy and is happy just to get his letters of love... the love of all the kids for each other sacrificing their soba noodle class for the sake of another... and on and on... and the tears continue to flow... i love this drama~! the drama ended with a peaceful sight. im relieved. A+++

i love the anime and most of all the live drama, it was the most emotional but deprresing and good movie/drama special of the year.. the 2 actors who played seita and setsuko were so good, i could totally felt their sorrows and grief, its much more better than watching the anime. |

this is actually an interesting drama, i didnt say its my favorite though, ive warned myself many times never to continue on but i did anyway ;P its very unusual and it may piss you off at the same time.. it was atsuro's role.. being a husband, secondly encountered by his ex-lover who falls into a critical condition and has 6 mos. to live.. so (his stupidity) forced himself to quit his job and leave his family, pretending to be a single man to fulfill the girl's wishes.. i wouldnt know how to feel, either out of pity or angry.. but if you see me watching this, id be throwing slippers to the TV all the time.. i wouldnt say this is for everyone to watch but if you dont like typical love dramas then this is probably a good choice for you.. good story.. sad ending. |

i love this drama. not because i love joe odagiri but he brought his character to life as well. theres a lil bit of change, i just recently watched the ending tonight and i give it an 8 instead of 7. why? bec. i like deep and dark dramas such as this, and its a lesson learnt from someone who's trying to be someone that he's not.. mostly happened to typical teenagers or probably of most people, then the Wakaba bank's son Shinji.. he's cute, i like him more than Tatsuya.. I love Eiko's piece and its very touching, sadly she died in the end so its up to Tatsuya to live on and continue his promises to Eiko and change.
What disturbs me is that Tatsuya had to kiss Eiko's mom.. thats so unnecessary.. i would've given this a higher rate but i hate when he turned evil, n plus he hurt Eiko twice so thats twice the low rating hahah.. overall it was good, i love it. |

moving my rating from 6 to 8, first off i thought the first eps. were boring, but things are getting really intense somewhere in the middle, where her daughter found out bout her mom.. this is the first darkest 'family' series ive seen.. the ending isnt something i expected.. i dont like homewreckers at all, as much as i dont like how it turned out, i still give it an 8 cuz i wouldnt wanna give a low rating just cuz i didnt like the ending, its a good story actually.. not recommended for hot tempered like me ;P |
