Ok, now the series was pretty decent, but for meeting the ending sucked. After reading people's opinions, I could see the reasoning -- but doesn't mean I have to like it. I could really see a SP saving raising the score of this one. Again, the Yamapi - Maki pairing was good. |

I actually liked the anime version of the ending a little bit better (I was watching both the live version and anime at the same time - the endings are essentially the same, but in a different order). Oddly enough, even though I had been a Dorama fan for a while, this is my first complete Kimura series....wow, what a great series!!!! Yuko plays a great lead (much better than Lunch Queen, which was good too) and the supporting cast is great as well.
I just finished this, and it definitely goes on my list of all time fav's. I've had the VCD's from the OG series -- Long Vacation, and now I absolutely have to watch it.
Also, I usually am not of fan of English songs in JDramas, but Queen's "I was born to love you" is perfect for this series, and I keep playing it over and over in my car! |
