I admit the story is interesting for dorama that aired in 2000 and determinant is Takuya Kimura, somehow he made the drama alive. Tokiwa Takako also played really really well in terms of scrutinize a wheel-chaired person feelings. This drama is well paced from the beginning to the end. Intriguing storyline at middle to end! I know the male leading actor is a bit timid and strange plus "gay housemate, but "affairs" is really shocking since there was no premonition of that! The ending is also quite hanging on the air, but apart from that, happy to see cute Kitano Kii as main role. I've watched this dorama twice and I still amazed and fall in love with the storyline, the actors/actress, the plot and everything so perfectly orchestrated. First, taught me how to treat any girl/boy esp boyfriend/girlfriend, what they're thinking in general, the needs to be loved. Second, strong-will character in fighting for your true love in whatever situations, how to deal with stubborn future father-in-law without giving up yet expressing your true feelings towards him. Third, to be honest with your own feeling towards your girlfriend/boyfriend because he/she is the one you will cherish on for the rest of your life, growing old until death apart. Fourth, maturity goes on along with relationships, indecisive guy became a responsible decisive maker, doing what's right at right time. Lastly, I really like the soundtrack (Is it you - Hitomi & Your Eyes Only) even I remember the lyrics so well :D hontou ni hontou ni suteki subarashi sekai ichiban ga suki no dorama~! |

Actually 8.5 because I thought this drama seems to be like all other pilot drama (Good Luck, Engine, Tokyo Control, etc), but I found some uniqueness in this drama. First, this drama tried to show meticulously the step from zero to become pilot (trainings, exams, study period, etc). Second, sharing is trusting, when you have problem, you need to express/share it between friends. Third, solid team is crucial to fly a plane, not just the pilot itself. Fourth, I like the cast because I don't feel Horikita Maki is the leader/showing off, all new pilot made significant role :) |

At first, I never intend to see this drama, because it's Matsumoto Jun and Ishihara Satomi (I don't really like both of them since I saw Smile and H2). BUT, I got curious by looking at the pinky cover of the drama, THEN I read the synopsis and want to try this drama. It turns out really interesting from the first episode, I watch it marathon till Ep.5. Believe it or not this drama really describes my current real life situation and the day before I saw the last episode, it's my real shitsuren(broken heart) day cause the girl that rejected me 3 years ago, got boyfriend. Watching this drama is like a consolation for me. LASTLY, I never thought Ishihara Satomi could really be this cute, I always avoid her drama back then. This is a wonderful drama, and in my opinion one of the best ever produced. It is wonderfully paced, and the actors are top-notch. Unlike some dramas that have one major plot, Summer Snow covers a variety of areas such as teen pregnancy, taking responsibility for your actions, true love, sacrifice, knowing when to do what's right, choosing to live your life depsite physical limitations and many others. I remember that I really enjoy watch this special drama, but I admit that I feel like being tricked by the first half of the story because it's so lively, no murder and such usual cabin attendant drama (Attention please, Tokyo Tower, Miss Pilot, etc). The final half of the story is really exciting, things turned out to be unpredictable and unexpected Kyoko Fukada could act that great (usually I'm not expecting much from Kyoko other than her natural beauty face).
