Gonzo?

For a minute I thought it had something to do with Hunter S. Thompson. Beaten

At least you didn't associate it with the dirty gonzo. Anyway, I really enjoyed tonight's first episode. I hope Uchino maintains this nutty character throughout this dorama.

He was the star of last year's Taiga: Furin Kazan. Victory! Peace!

And I share the same birth date as him.

Heh. Victory! Peace!

Just finished watching episode 1 - very interesting. Not a lot of publicity but I'm very certain it'll do well this season in terms of ratings for the time slot. Though, I'm not aware of any fansub group willing take up the challenge. Great selection of lead actors. Reminds me of SP.

Hmm, you must've hit the "New Topic" button rather than the "Post Reply" button.

Merging.

I watched a couple of scenes of this show last night, just to get a taste for it. And dang! This might be fun to watch!

And that's saying something considering the drek the TV studios usually put on in the summer.

Fingers crossed .....i've never seen the main star in any drama. The risk pays off. This drama rocks.

The 2nd episode was rather slow, however tonight's episode they had picked it up some. We get to see the sensitive side to detective Kuroki. Very touching episode IMO. Definitely worth the watch so far!

Definitely one of the highlights of an otherwise boring summer season. Way better than SP.

The lead's mainly done stage work and acted in NHK productions. Most recent notable work was Furin Kazan.

The same reason why some dramas notch high ratings even though they're lame and repetitive.

It's hard to decipher what exactly Kuroki's like. Every episode we get to see a little more of him. Like we're being teased. It's never enough.

Sakuma doesn't seem to have a good agenda.

worth your time. keeps getting better, each episode. I wouldn't be surprised if the lead actor wins a special award - like what Kitagawa Keiko got for Mop Girl. Lots of very believable character players.
