Remember the last photo shown at the end of Ep1? In the photo Rei looked sad but Ken can't recall what made her feel sad/mad. So Ken returned to the period when that pic was taken, try to change the history and make Rei smile. It was their high school festival, and the event just ended. Oku Eri participated in the school's beauty pageant, and Ken bet w/ Rei over the result. And Eri did win the contest, so Ken lost the bet and he has to buy a coffee milk for Rei as penalty. Ken thought it was b/c he couldn't buy the drink for her and so Rei was mad, so this time Ken vows to get the drink for Rei and change the history. Ken said, "My future w/ Rei is depended on coffee milk." He kept running everywhere trying to buy the drink (poor Yamapi, has to keep running and running throughout the whole drama series......^^). No matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't find the drink for Rei. He returned to where Rei was waiting w/ empty hands, but surprisingly, Rei still met him w/ smile........but then Ken saw Rei's sad expression when she turned around......
It turns out that it was also Ken's birthday, Rei and the other friends planned to celebrate w/ him, but Ken spent all the time searching for the drink and left them waiting and waiting.....(I am guessing Rei smile for Ken working that hard for her drink but sad b/c they couldn't celebrate bday) At the end, Ken somehow got to listen to a CD of Rei and then found out something he never noticed before........
It seems that for both of the times Ken traveled back to the past he couldn't change anything, they still lost the baseball game and he still got no drink for Rei. But both times Ken did successfully change a bit of Rei's thought and feeling about Ken. Seems like although Ken still fail to do things right, his attitude and effort to try to succeed somehow touches Rei's heart. Maybe when he keeps on traveling back and try to change things....at the end, when he return to present time, he just finds himself actually being the groom sitting next to Rei........
Anyone watched the sub version yet? I found there's one phrase mentioned in the drama kinda interesting. It says, "Men wish to become the first lover of the women, and women want to be the last lover of their men." I pretty much agree w/ that ne.....

This summary makes me think that it's going to be repetitive...In the long run this could be boring.
Man, this drama really makes me think of Tsuyoshi Dohmoto's I'll be back drama in 1998! But that one was a real genius! _________________

Yea, I know, it does sound repetitive.....but I think it won't just go off like that for the rest of the series......probably there'll be some change of the style in the middle like 4th or 5th episode? It'd be weird if all these photo & history changing are all done during the wedding in 1 same day.....spending 11episodes to talk about 1 day event......that's not so likely to happen, is it?

ah finally a thread....i love this drama b'coz of Pi of course hahaha but definitely i have to give credits to the whole drama itself...i hope eng subs will b release soon, i've watched it only in raw ver. and just understand only half of it! it started w/ high rating hope they can keep it that way or even higher teh drama is interesting anyways....

I'm so happy that subs finally came out for this!!! I won't watch it tonight though (it's a tad late and I have work tomorrow) I'll watch it tomorrow, which will kill me when I'm at work I'll just be waiting to go home (not that I'm not always waiting to go home anyways bwha ha) _________________
