And the price of Blu-Ray players has plummeted... Remember when they seemed to hover around $200 for the longest time?
Now they're around $100 or less... Unless you're talking about the Oppo.
Yeah the Oppo is in the stratosphere. Only for hardcore videophiles. I remember when they finally came out with their Blu-ray player. Talk about sticker shock.

And I don't think the Oppo supports internet apps...

Their focus is strictly on bleeding edge tech. Very little frills. They do support some streaming services, natively, like Netflix & Pandora along with a few others but you're right there doesn't seem to be an ecosystem to support the development and addition of internet apps.

Starting Moribito. I'm excited.
@Tu
Seems the crunchy roll prob ironed itself out.
Nothing like plugging and unplugging a few times.
Strangely enough I had to do that myself for the first time. The box wasn't picking up my wifi signal for some reason after I moved it downstairs to my primary TV.
Dude I'm thinking of just buying another one so I can be lazy and have one on each TV

I've already thought about having a second one in the bedroom.
Well Moribito is going down fast. It's the second night and I'm already on ep 9.
So get to work on your next rec for me. _________________

Having fun watching Bakuman - jsut got current last night and things are becoming quite interesting.
I wonder how long the anime will be - hopefully it covers the manga all the way to the end. _________________

Balsa save me!
T'will take more than just a simple yet foxy mercenary to do that.
In the meanwhile things are going in a most interesting way in Bakumatsu kikansetsu irohanihoheto. Really wondering exactly what the playwright Ibaragi is up too. _________________

OK, so I finished Sekai Ichi hatsukoi. Skipped a couple of eps towards the end. Got a bit predictable. And repetiitive. I was ready for the end. 7 out of 10.
Back to the much better BAkumatsu. _________________
