Not mine... They added those built-in internet apps on the later models. Sad

Same thing on my tv. The generation after mine came with a multitude of apps that aren't available on my model. Sucks.

I've been researching some of the current Blu-Ray players that have similar apps built-in... Along with Wi-Fi.

That's a good alternative.

And the price of Blu-Ray players has plummeted... Remember when they seemed to hover around $200 for the longest time?

Now they're around $100 or less... Unless you're talking about the Oppo. Sweat

Yeah the Oppo is in the stratosphere. Only for hardcore videophiles. I remember when they finally came out with their Blu-ray player. Talk about sticker shock.

Their focus is strictly on bleeding edge tech. Very little frills. They do support some streaming services, natively, like Netflix & Pandora along with a few others but you're right there doesn't seem to be an ecosystem to support the development and addition of internet apps.

Strangely enough I had to do that myself for the first time. The box wasn't picking up my wifi signal for some reason after I moved it downstairs to my primary TV.

Dude I'm thinking of just buying another one so I can be lazy and have one on each TV Beaten

Having fun watching Bakuman - jsut got current last night and things are becoming quite interesting.
I wonder how long the anime will be - hopefully it covers the manga all the way to the end.

lol

T'will take more than just a simple yet foxy mercenary to do that.

In the meanwhile things are going in a most interesting way in Bakumatsu kikansetsu irohanihoheto. Really wondering exactly what the playwright Ibaragi is up too. Victory! Peace!

Watching Sekai Ichi hatsukoi. Rather startled to find it on Crunchyroll. It's a catchy yaoi piece about editors at a shojo manga publisher.

Guess you could call it quite bishounen. Beaten

Waiting on new eps for Bakuman so started Last Exile: Fam...
Quite interesting how the fight scenes changed from the old Last Exile.

OK, so I finished Sekai Ichi hatsukoi. Skipped a couple of eps towards the end. Got a bit predictable. And repetiitive. I was ready for the end. 7 out of 10.
Back to the much better BAkumatsu.

Me neither. Crunchyroll is a scourge in the sense that trying to say you finished everything you want to watch is impossible.
