as much as i was so excited to see another Tomoya Nagase thread is starting here, i am thinking maybe it was not a good idea to join this thread at all.

i mean, if you go and read every thread dedicated to any idol, you wont find so many negative remarks and jokes regarding that idol as much as you find it here. is this really a thread for Tomoya Nagase fans to appreciate their idol? since my 1sp post here and after reading the two pages, i read nothing about laughing about his weight, voice, comparing him to other idols (is this happens in every other idol thread?)
the whole thread is based on his looks. is this how someone becomes a fan of any idol? just looking at his looks and ignore his/her talent?

i know i will be labled as biased toward him after this, but after getting to know real tomoya, i found out that he is more than a pretty face that melts our heart. he is a great singer and great song writer. he is proffessional musician that can write, tune, arrange, play and sing his songs as a part of TOKIO.
he is not just a funny actor. he is a multitalented actor that can do all sorts of roles. from comic to serious. if people see him only as a funny actor in MBMH then surely have not seen his other dramas. then how can you say that you are his fan.

i know everyone is entitled to their opinion but negative posts like these should not posted under a thread for him. this will give a new fan who just discovered tomoya a totally wrong impression of him when he really does not desrve it.

i think i said enough. i don't think that i will be coming to this thread or this site after this anymore. because i did not find what i was looking for in terms of real tomoya nagase fans.
and for any other old and new tomoya fans visiting here to know more about their favourite idol, i have to say that there other threads dedictaed to him out there where you really can learn more about him and enjoy his works with his other true fans.

I think you're taking this way too personally... It's just banter among members... There's no animosity involved, I believe.

I think a good quality all fans should have is to be able to accept the good with the bad, and NOT put the idol on a pedestal. If you can swallow the bad, it means you truly are dedicated. For example, Tomoya-kun DID gain weight, and his hair did NOT look good in that pic, but we still love him. That's what a TRUE fan does. I can laugh at him because I have confidence in him. He's my number one and I don't need to justify that.

If you're going to praise him as if he were perfect, you're doing him a disservice because his imprefections make him grand. In this case, then mebbe another forum/thread IS better for you.

In terms of liking him for more than his looks and acting (acting moreso than looks), I don't know him except from interviews and what others have written, and if you had stayed, perhaps you could have shared what you know.

Ah well. They come. They go.

Actually no. Attractiveness is a level HIGHER. I'm always attracted to the X-Factor as opposed to the Hot-Factor. But it really depends on the case.

KimuTaku is attractive moreso than he's hot, which is why I love him so. Tomoya is HOT but also attractive, which is why he's #1.

There are a lot of guys I'm attracted to who aren't celebrity-goodlooking. They just have that extra quality. If Tomoya took roles that were MatsuJunish or had a different "personality", then I prolly wouldn't be attracted to him. Regardless of looks.

Sorry to hear that you didn�Lt enjoy this thread. I have fun here because I can�Lt take the entertainement industry too serious, in general.
I just wish to highlight two things though:
- Most people who posted here are huuuuuge J-drama fans and probably have seen all his dramas. So even if we appear like we are silly people who have no clue, we know his drama work pretty well. You have a point though with his music, and I really dislike Tokio�Ls sound (from what I know) but this can�Lt be helped gomen

- From what I know, most posters here truly like him, but it�Ls as Beemer said, we are also a bit joking with each other, that�Ls our style.
