I gotta say I'm pleasantly surprised. I just finished ep 1 and the drama is unexpectedly good!

I wasn't expecting much cos' I didn't really like Miura Haruma. I first saw him in Koizora and Gokusen, and his acting totally sucks in those shows.

It seems that he's starting to brush up on his acting chops, and I gotta admit he's quite good in this drama. I'm gonna give him a 2nd chance.

I like the directorial stance, such as the analogy of a falcon roving through security barriers, when the hackers are doing their jobs. I thought it was a nice touch to add to the intensity of the drama.

Moving onto other eps very soon!

I think he was working with her after all if she really had shot him in the head at such close range he would have been dead, so they must have staged it... it also explains how the body disappeared so fast when Kano went to investigate. She's a small woman he's a big guy, she wouldn't be able to drag him and disappear in a few seconds and if she could there would have been a trail of blood. So yeah I'm going for they're in it together

I finished the dorama today and I was completely satisfied it is such an amazing show, absolutely love the storyline and the twists and the suspense.

I was happy the father wasn't a bad guy I did suspect as much ^0^ it just seemed odd otherwise what he said to Fujimaru before he disappeared, I didn't buy it ^0^ also the Anzai kidnapping was very sus, I thought there must be something dodgy about her. I liked those twists though... didn't much like Anzai to be fair

My favourite character is Kirishima, when I watched the first ep I didn't think he was going to have such a big part but then as the series went on it was clear he was one of the more major characters, which made me really happy ^0^

I really favoured him after his fiancee died because initially I thought he was a bit of an idiot and horrible for not going to see her. But then there's that scene where he's alone after she died and he's real upset... zomg he needed a hug! Then with him being so supportive of Fujimaru and seeing how his team respected him he just won it for me =D

It would be cool if there was some kind of continuation, maybe a special or something. That would be good =D
Yay so yeah my verdict <3 Big Love... I'll prolly watch it again sometime, I persuaded quite a few of my friends to watch it already and now I have people to rave about it with ^0^

Haruma Miura is totally cool!!!
I'm in love with Haruma Miura more now....
His acting in this drama proves that he's not just a pretty face...

I was a bit disappointed with the ending actually, and i felt like wasting my time watching when so many questions were left unanswered...but oh well...Miura was nice to see though.

I actually felt like all my questions were answered

Thanks! I did look on D-addicts, but was useless and couldn't find it. Oops.

Edited: just got the first episode and put it on my PS3 and it plays perfectly!

I finished the first episode tonight. It was enjoyable, and very suspenseful.
Looking forward to seeing how it continues, for sure.
I have a question - does Fujimaru's hair actually move? Because it looks the same all the time.
Gonna download episode two tonight, hopefully.

That ending theme was a bit...meh, though. Just imo, of course.

omg, some of the stuff in this episode - it was sooooo creepy. Like the woman (oops, can't think of her name) in the hospital bed, dead, with her mouth open. When Fujimaru pulled the covers off the body, I gasped.

I finished Bloody Monday. It was really good.

I know I wasn't meant to, but that Kano guy made me laugh, as no matter what he has doing or saying, his face was the exact same all the time.
It was either acting, or the actor's face is set permanently to "angry concern" mode in real life.

And, hmm, the Fujimaru actor - I'd say he was a passable actor, but far from great. And what? He's meant to be hot?

despite the huge threat from terrorists, Fujimaru and Otoya still found time to pay the hair dresser a visit for having their hair bleached. Well, they never had any dark roots on show! Lol. The last episode, when t was discovered that what happened in the Russian church was a neutron bomb - they didn't say how Maya Orihara survived being there. I was a bit surprised at how open the ending was. As others have said, it really seems to suggest a second series.

Now for what appears to be a minority view.
I found Bloody Monday to be very disappointing. The direction
and cinematography was good but I found too many of the
characters to be morons. At least once in every episode something
is done that is totally idiotic.

Crowds of people are fighting to get out of a shopping mall. The police/military outside have orders to shoot anyone who comes out of the mall. Ooooh, the tension. But how about telling these people that they will be shot if the leave the mall. Naah, that would make too much sense.

Minami has the long haired bad guy disarmed and with her gun pointed at him, walks up and literally puts her hands directly above his so he has no problem disarming her. Sheesh, I guess she skipped class on the day they taught how to arrest a dangerous suspect.

I think I could easily give at least one such example for each episode.
I was just hoping for smarter writing.

i love how they tried to make it like 24 style (but of course, 24 is way better) after watching 1st and 2nd episode, i still don't get it why the friends should be in the drama. (i only understand when the climax begin) and this otoya, he also confusing me at first..both of them doesn't look like they're friends and suddenly, otoya already involved in the situation. but still, i think enough having otoya and hide - the infected boy. overall, this drama really caught my attention the bad thing is, i always sleepy at my work since i watch it on weekdays..

i think, i've take back my word bout the the girls especially on anzai. seriously, i never thought she is the one. i almost believe when they said otoya is the real leader. i will recommend this drama to my friends because the genre is different from usual japanese drama

I totally didn't see the twist with Anzai coming either! In fact, she barely even registered with me. I wondered about Otoya too, but couldn't quite believe he was a baddie, when he seemed such a genuine friend to Fujimaru.
