Thanks for the link. I have never heard of that chinese legend before. Funny that an ox was used instead of horses, must have been a very ancient legend.

I thought Ep. 8 was slow but had picked up toward the end. Still a great dorama for this season.

The peeling scene was amusing but a little bit too silly I thought. It's nice to see the little signs of Kanako starting to warm up to Haruo too. Looks like Sachi will be diagnosed with the same illness as Mariko, sounds very cliche but it is possible for it to be different, hopefully it will be somewhat original. Not really looking forward to it but I enjoyed episode 8 as with all the other episodes.

Watched episode 9. A lot of the hospital scenes felt long with the cliche situation. There were some funny moments at the beginning, like when Haruo realized Sachi was watching him looking at his salary. I thought Shiraishi Miho was very good in this episode too. But overall, a little disappointing. Waiting to find out how this would end...

I agree with you about Shiraishi Miho. I still think this is gonna be sad toward the end

Guess I should get my butt in gear and start downloading this drama.

Episode 10 was good, time passed very quickly. Yoshitaka Yuriko showed what a good actress she is.

I feel she and Shiraishi Miho really should have been given more material to work with, their own story arcs were over in a flash.

Good show with good acting all around. Though the story line was very predictable, at least for me, even the ending came as no surprise

Okay, like just about everybody else, didn't care too much for the ending, I was ready to give this a 9 until then.

But it does sort of tie-in with the beginning, it makes sense that the son would seek revenge for his father. But geez, if you're gonna have your store closed for the day, wouldn't you LOCK THE F**KING DOOR!!!

You know, with a better ending there is more than enough material for a sequel. Yoshitaka and Shiraishi's characters both could have been developed a lot more.

Anyway, I still liked it a lot.
